  • HOT DAMN!!!!!!

  • who the fuck is john mayer---ha ha ha that's the truth!!!

  • JERRRRRRY! Killing drums.

  • jerry shirley....a very very underated drummer.....the man could pound those skins

  • A classic interpretation of an awesome song already. Very cool to hear Steve putting his sourful vox on top of the Pie's rocking performance. Thanks for posting.

  • Absolutely appalling how Steve Marriot didn't make it on the best vocalists of all time by Rolling Stone magazine.

  • @oxx0xx0xx0 fuck rolling stone mag, worst rag of all times, any publication that can claim john mayer is a guitar god has serious problems that no one can help,

  • @MrGitsnShiggles Eye 2nd that. He is NOT a guitar god or a guitar "great" for that matter. He's a decent player. But! there are hundreds of players the world over who are unheard of and about a 1000 times better. He couldn't properly "blues" his way out of an SRV box if he tried.

  • @MrGitsnShiggles Marriott was so awesome!!!! Who the f--- is john mayer??!!

  • interesting version and there is a HINT OF COWBELL in there, why oh why they didn't run with it and slow it the fuck down a bit, what a voice

  • Stones did it better!

  • and get with some humble pie

  • Greatness! That lil fucker can sing!)))

  • KURWA TO JEST NIESAMOWITE!!!!!!!

  • The best rock vocalist was Lennon or McCartney; take your choice. No one else even comes close.

  • @NewDirection4us Maybe Mick, though.

  • @NewDirection4us the Beatles were a pop band not a rock band....next ;-)

  • @alanlaing Not so, they were as rock n roll as Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Buddy Holly, Elvis, or any of the other rock pioneers. I agree, the Beatles were not "heavy metal" rock, but they could get down and play some good hard driving rock. Just listen to Abbey Road cd sometime.

  • @NewDirection4us and also I own every Beatles album....I'm a big fan but they are a pop act (nothing wrong with pop)

  • @alanlaing PLAIN WRONG, NewDirection4us knows what s/hes talking about

  • @alanlaing You've been voted off the island! LOL

  • @NewDirection4us taken me a while to read my youtube inbox so this comment might confuse you it's well over a year out of date but to say that Lennon or McCartney are better vocalists than Steve Marriott is just madness....they might be better song writers but as for vocalists...please....

  • @NewDirection4us I dont think Lennon really holds up against McCartney, although for best rock voice i would consider someone a bit heavier, like Marriott, although i have never considered the question before.

  • best vocalist?... FREDDIE MERCURY

  • Yeah Freddy was a great charismatic performer, singer and also an unashamed poser. Having seen both perform at their height I still have to give it to Steve for sheer musical ability.

  • 先斗町

  • Marriot is great., humble pie is the best rock'n roll

  • Steve Marriott / Rob Halford / Eric Adams / Steve Perry / Paul Rodgers ... you deceide

  • Plant no contest

  • YES HIM TOO

  • @cadscout Im a massive Zep fan, but i cant agree here. Yes, PLant had great emotion and a real rock n roll voice, but technically it wasnt great. His sound did suit Zep and completed the band as a true original rock n roll band. As a band, no one comes close

  • @nickdavies1000 how about Bobcat Goldthwait?

  • Best vocalist of all time?

  • What a version ,for once a real tribute.

  • Very good cover song Rolling Stones !

  • steve is a rock an roll legend.a all time great, full stop.

  • Can´t agree with most comments. Their rhythm section always tends to become faster - so no groove at all. And though I hate the Stones I must admit that in this point their original recording is far ahead. Steve´s singing is a class of it´s own though.

  • Great!!!!

  • WOW!!!

  • Terry!!!!

I was thinking of Humble Pie all morning~

    LOL!!!

  • Great minds think alike

  • Yes we do!

  • lol "we wanna pay tribute to the rooooollllin' stones woooaha". Only Steve Marriot could get away with singing normal sentences.

  • @kevlarikus101 hahahahhahahahah .. i often try and sing normal sentences .. but it doesn't sound the same :(

  • When Ridley comes in with that walking bass line after the guitar intro, it is almost better than sex! Kick ass song!!

  • They had an excellent rhythm section with Ridley & Shirley.

  • I agree with you on that!

  • Awesome!! Perhaps even better than the originally, at least vocally.

  • @bangkokianbanger yeah, Marriott will do better vocals than pretty much anyone!

  • I have always thought this was awesome.

  • vudú hiso un cover de esta cancion... muy buena

para los ignorantes vudú es una banda argentina

que está muy buena, y por desgracia no tienen

el exito que tendrian que tener... pero bue

  • Great singer and the best version of Honky Tonk Women from one of the best bands of all times!!!!!!!!
