San Diego is the birth place of California.It's the state's oldest City.SD has so much potential it can be one of the greatest cities on the Pacific Rim.
I'm form houston :( It SUCKS! Its like 100 degrees 8 months of the year, 70-100% humidity(makes the heat index about 110) 9 months of the year. Winter last about 2-3 months and is VERY mild and refreshing thats the only time there is no humidy. I'm used to the heat and humidity. But the biggest thing that kills me is theres no natural beauty. Just land and trees and LOTS of freeways. Going here for usmc bootcamp in march. I hope to get stationed here. Then live here after i get out the corps.

I really love San Deigo I was Born in NY but moved to SD after 1 year and grew up for 10 yrs in Barrio Logan I miss those times. I go to SD about every other weekend now..never get tired of it wana live over there..miss Coronado ( sigh)....great place

i havent had a real carne asaca burrito in three years!!!! I was born n raised in dago,if u are a true san diegan,NEVER MOVE TO THE EAST COAST JUST BECAUSE ITS CHEAPER!!!! THIS PLACE SUCKS---- THEY DONT EVEN HAVE JACK IN THE BOX,EL POLLO LOCO/AND WHITE BOYS TATTED UP COOKING MEXICAN FOOD!!! I ASKED FOR REFRIED BEANS ON THE SIDE/THEY GAVE ME PINTO BEANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but yeah, i know what you mean...i was raised in daygo for 18 years, went into the military and left for japan...well, japan is awesome so no complaint there...but then i went to dc for three years and i agree-west coast is the greatest. long live carne asada. ralphs brand carne asada (yes, from the grocery store ralphs) is great. throw that on the grill, grab a pacifico and call it a day.

Thanks for the views..we always stay on Shelter Island when we come out from Mass. Haven't been in several years, and miss it terribly! i kind of enjoyed the weird music, but would have liked to have heard you making more commentary! Joy..in the East
