I think Lucy is definitely the real love of Dusty's life. She's the only person that Dusty has ever really wanted to marry. Sure he married Jennifer and liked it, but that time it was mostly Jennifer who wanted it. Dusty almost proposed to Lucy, he had the ring and everything, but Lucy said she wanted to go to college and Dusty felt maybe that would be for the best. Lucy and Dusty are meant to be!
