nice tree - There is a Bur oak in harrison township I have seen that is in the midlle of a mosquito laden swamp that looks older than this -- it doesn't even look real the bark is so deep and furrowed- But it's not quite as big around as this tree -- I don't know if the harrison tree is still standing.- But this Sanilac county tree is majestic - Hope it lives another few hundred at least - Bur Oaks do love swamps though-- they are magnificent!~
