  • Amen Sister, Yall Have Er Down Pat. Dont Change a Thing. JV.

  • I love the lead singers voice. Beautiful and crystal clear

  • ooops ... It''s Alison Krauss ... sorry about that ... 50lancaster ... and Emmylou and Dan Tyminski and John Hartford and Gillian Welch and ... well, don't miss watching Down From The Mountain.

  • Hey ... them's the Peasall sisters and Allison Krause sticks her head in there too. Cox Family music is music at its best. Watch the movie Down From The Mountain and you'll get to watch and listen to a whole lot of talent. Ralph Stanley, Mike Compton etc etc

  • Love it! Thank you so much! Way to go Cox Family!!! :) This is a new one for me and thank God I found it.

  • Again please, where is Mrs Cox? They are just beautiful! They make my spirit soar.

  • I remember hearing my Mother sing this song, as we walked home from school and got near enough to hear her. I am sure she will have her stars, because she gave of herself, to so many children that were not her own.

  • Voice of an angel

  • nice.. real nice!

  • where is mrs cox?

  • Out of this world beautiful!!

  • Oh my goodness....An early picture of the Peasau Sisters at about 2:00, just before they came out and performed In the Highways and the Hedges. Nice version of the old gospel song Will There be Any Stars in My Crown, written by a Presbyterian woman before that denomination slid into to apostasy and unbelief and no longer represents Christ.

  • Suzanne always sang really good.

  • The ONLY "decent ethical human being" that ever lived on this planet was Jesus Christ. All the rest of us are full of sin and need a Savior.

  • Great sound !

  • what a wonderful talent . thank you

  • In (kinda) defence of astrochicken, when something this good hits you you're liable to lose control!

I'm not even a christian, but when I hear gospel songs (and I LOOOOVE gospel songs) sung like this it's infectious!

I almost become a christian! Almost....

  • @velvetunderpants44

    Hope you reconsider...

  • @ronniek202 Not a chance, sorry.

I've seen way too much corruption and suffering in the name of "Christianity".

    I respect your beliefs though.

But I think if we focussed more on being decent ethical human beings- on what we have in common- instead of creeds-things that separate us- we may be better off.

  • So perfect, I have goosebumps and my eyes are watering. I love The Cox Family!

  • I love the Cox Family songs!

  • I agree no purpose in dropping the F bomb talking about a Gospel song.

  • @patrick9648 Didn't James write that a fig tree cannot yield olives, nor an olive tree figs? Nor can a spring of water be both fresh water and salt water? So, too, the same mouth cannot, in truth, pronounce curses and also sing the praises of Yahweh, our Mighty One. As such, I concur that it is counterintuitive to use profanity in reference to a gospel song.

  • voices are great for sure,,,but must you add,,your filthy dirty mouth ,,,???

  • @guild52 What is it that you mean, exlpain please
