I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this phone is slower than snail sex. I got this phone when it came out, and like other comments have said, after the update, it was so slow to a point where it just gets frustrating. I still have this phone, and I can't afford to get a new one soooo....I rooted it, and flashed Cyanogenmod 6.1... its amazing! Maybe you all should do the same :)

Once I did the update for this phone it became the slowest damn thing ever. Hell my commador 64 puts this thing to shame with the speed. I take a picture and have to wait about 2-3 mins. to bring up the pic. I just took. Choosing to text or bring up people to call, and even playing games is so laggy. Not worth the $300 or $350 I paid for last year. TRASH TRASH TRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@maniactre It is really easy to transfer contacts with bluetooth from iphone to your mytouch,..BUT tmobile can do it for you go into their store, and if they say they can't just tell them you will switch to verizon because they do it for free and are a faster service.

Omg guy i used to have this phone until it started going really slow and eventually crashed and wouldn't turn on ;and i had to replace this phone literally 5 times ,i don't recommend ,also when i called in t-mobile said that this phone was discontinued ,so they had to give me the HG Optimus T.Hopefully it works better than ths one.From my experience it is not worth it.

Europe is not an alien entity, the same manufacturers that sell phones in Europe do the same in America (the continent, not the U.S.) If this thing has a "mega pixel camera below 4" (amazing sentence, btw) it's because it is not a high-end phone. My brother has T-mobile and he recently bought a use motorola cliq and that phone is made for internet too, he dosent have the internet plan he just uses the wifi. so i dont think you need to buy the internet plan you could just use the wifi!:)

@FordLover4311 Don't buy it! Many bugs, it is not very user friendly. I switched from a blackberry to the Mytouch and have missed the ease ever since.

My problems that I have spend about 5 hours total in the last 3 weeks on:

SD Card error, can't take pictures or video (known problem, they are working on it)

Not receiving emails, had to spend a half hour on the phone with customer support to get my phone so it would receive emails in a timely manner.

Rejecting passwords, had to reset the phone
