The new GnR album is alright, but first of all, it's not GnR, it targets a totally different audiance, it is way to to to to rehearsed and perfected thus defying the point of rock n roll. The Libertad album was rockin'! It had some awesomely sweet riffs, and some amazing amazing playing by Slash, still isn't GnR but if it was everyone would be dissapointed, Velvet revolver are a way better over all band than the new GnR, and they have much more musical potential.

I really don't like the industrial sound of the new GN'R. Libertad has a more traditional sound to it that seems more timeless to me. I also don't agree that the industrial sound is more modern than the new Velvet Revolver record. Industrial rock was popular ten years ago.
