  • i smear poop on mine and then claim vandals did it if i get caught

  • now if only i could write a message on it from inside my car i could curse out anyone that hits the horn at me >:D

  • My state is trying REALLY hard to make any form of retractable or stealth license plates to be illegal, and a fine up to 10,000 dollars if you are found using one. Jesus, just let us have our privacy you stalkers.

  • only problem with this...is I've already been given a warning ticket for simply having a cover over my tag... So this would still be considered illegal unfortunately, even when not breaking the law. Sure do like it though. Just need to find one without the face plate cover. But I don't want some cheap thing that just FLIPS down. Any advise anyone???

  • @MrChevyBird Check out one of our other videos: Stealth License Plate/Hidden License Plate. This is a less expensive alternative and it doens't cover your license plate like this one does.

  • @blindervideoman Found the one I think will work!!!, well as long as rain or a car wash wouldn't hurt it. Thanks a lot bud. Do ya'll also sell anything for street bikes?

  • @MrChevyBird That's good. We sell this same thing for motorcycles as well.

  • @MrChevyBird check this out man, it might be what you're looking for, pretty simple.

    /watch?v=zDl6AUhcVrk&feature=related

  • @MrChevyBird try a photostopper spray ;)

  • so these are good from getting away from cops :D LOLOLOL

  • AMazzzzzzzzzing i gotta have one of those

  • Is the plate visible when the system is switched on or switched off? It looks like the it would be blacked out until you turn it on to light it up from behind.

  • @lickmybike

When there is no power going through it, it hides your plate. When power is going through it, the plate is visible. There are also LEDs to help light up your plate at night time.

  • FRESSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • fucking beautiful

  • QUESTION NEED TO BE ANSWERED COZ I WANT ONE

DO THESE MOTHERFUCKERS STOP THEM FUCKING SPEED CAMERAS FLASH??? COZ IF THE FLASH LIGHT GOES RIGHT THROUGH AND SHOWS UR NUMBER PLATE THAT AINT GOOD :( LET ME KNOW AS I AM GOING TO BUY ONE IN AUSTRALIA!

  • @MaximaJ31

As long as it is activated before you go through the intersection, then it will be unable to read your plate. Once dark, you will be unable to read any plate numbers or city, etc (with or without flash.) We however do not endorse using these for red light cameras or speed cameras for legality purposes.

  • @blindervideoman Then if the stealth lic plate are not endorsing for use against red light cameras, or speed cameras, what is the purpose?

  • @GUALLACOL They are not endorsed for red light cameras or speed cameras, but doesn't mean you couldn't use it for that purpose. We advertise them for privacy purposes at car shows or photo shoots.

  • ok so what about registration stickers that go on the plate ? would you just stick it on the plate like normal ?

  • @jango67

Yes, they are still visible in their normal location.

  • Wow, in europe you get an $500 fine when you put anything on top of the original license plate, even if it was 100% transparent plastic, even having it on your car, not driving it. it illegal.

  • U could get away from paying the state 300 for running a red...

  • @Steven6501 once or twice maybe. Untill the police catch on and start camping the intersections.

  • where can i get this.??

  • @upbeatmantis86

We sell it at stealthperformanceproductsdotcom. Message me if you have any questions.

  • whats the difference between this and the trick plate?

  • @partsguy7777

They are actually the same product, we just named the video differently.

  • I live in ATL to!

  • is this the same stuff as the tricplate*com stuff?....They have a video here as well but are extremely expensive. Also on you tube are the cars with these lcd films as window tint. One is actually black, and there is like 4 or 5 other vids with just the foggy white looking film

  • @xtr3mehe4t This is the TricPlate, yes.The ones that turn foggy white are the Ghost Plate. Check out our other videos to see another version which is a canvas which rolls down over your plate. This is a fraction of the price of the TricPlate.

  • I've been thinking about something, and you could tell me if this is even possible. My last car had window tint, my newer car does not. I would like to tint them, but I'm by no means looking to get a ticket from towns where cops have nothing better to do than harass citzens with window tint. I wonder if this same technology could be applied to window tint. So when I want it tinted, it could be. And when its wise not to, I can flip a switch, and no tint. Just a thought...

  • @mnetrucker This has been brought up to the manufacturer numerous times, but the main factor keeping it from happening is cost. It would cost close to $10-15k due to each one being car specific and the labor involved. A roll of this film costs close to $20k. It would be wicked cool to do that to a car though. Even for a movie would be sweet.

  • @mnetrucker A different solution for you is known as "privacy glass" as used by top-end (expensive) bathroom fitters. No voltage applied means clear/colourless, a voltage applied to the glass makes it go frosted, black, white or any colour you want and you can adjust how strong. The same technology can be used for car windows so they turn clear at night. It's quite cheap to produce and is used in various places around the world. Just borrow the patented technology for car windows!

  • Sadly it needs to be the other way around. All black with the current running through it. You couldn't park this thing on road anywhere otherwise theyd tow your car or youd have cop waiting for you when you got back.

    Love the idea though.

  • @shakybones007 True. But all you need to do is wire it to the battery. Draws very little current.

  • wait i seen your other video and it looks like its a a sheet just covers it that goes up and down, is this the same thing?

  • @emoney510 We have two different versions. You can check both of them out on our website for greater detail.

  • LOL. "for shows and events". More like toll road and red light cameras. :D

  • @wardubo and robberys lol

  • @UndrRatedEnt LOL "and robberys"

  • @wardubo Use, sell or fit one of those here in the UK and the Police will prosecute for "Intending to pervert the course of justice" - which is a prison sentence (automatic) for 2 years and a heavy fine or company shut down.

We have ANPR cameras for detecting stolen cars, terrorists, people driving without MOT certificate, road tax and Car Insurance. Police also have them in their patrol cars. Fixed cameras are on motorways, filling stations, motorways etc. It's taken seriously in the UK.

  • @wardubo hahahaaa

  • hey how much does this cost???? i want one for my audi a4

  • @juanisimothegreat We have this Stealth Plate and many other products on our website. Check it out at thelaserjammerstoreDotCom

  • out of curiosity is it just a tinted cover with a light in the back, so when you turn the light on i makes the tints clear due to the light? just guessing not here to annoy you.

  • @MrWiskytango

It is an electric film that when no current is going through it, the film will turn black. So when electric current is flowing, it will stay clear. The lights help make the plate visible at night time when the plate is clear. No problem. All questions are welcomed

  • WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!

  • amm very nice i want to purchase it !

  • Nice video nick :) Not bad. I'm sure jeff is very happy :)

    stealthcountermeasures

  • Thanks, gotta get it out there as much as possible

  • Looks very good.
