I played Silver and Crystal when I was little.

Getting Soulsilver this upcoming Sunday.

In my opinion, Pokemon started to lose its luster when the R/S/E era started.

Glad to see they remade one of my favourite games.

dude, silver, gold, and crystal were not only my favorite pokemon games, but that was my favorite generation of pokemon. in R/S/E they went from team rocket to team magma and aqua, which sucked.

They only remake games so that everyone who has the system can get all the Pokemon. R/B/Y/G was remade to FR/LG because R/S/E didn't have many Gen 1/2 (Legendary) Pokemon.

G/S was remade because the DSi was released. People only with a DSi can't get access to FR/LG/R/S/E and they could only access to D/P/Pt so they couldn't all the Pokemon.

theres an event currently in japan where you go to see the 12th pokemon movie and they give you a pichu with the same colours as a pikachu. You trade that pichu onto hert gold and soul silver and when you get to the ilex forest, with the pikachu coloured pichu in your party, a notched ear pichu will appear. I don't know if ya battle it or if it just joins your team straight away, sorry :(

XD I should`ve known, your usually pretty fast with the updates. I liked this new intro better, the way you allowed for the Pokemon`s cries to be heard through the music was a good idea, and the footage pictures are great as always. 5/5!
