The speech format-

1>The Hook( a story used to gauge the attention of the audience)

2> Introduction( name of the speaker.. and the topic.. mentioning if you are in the affirmative or against the motion)

3>Present case format( first the positive aspects will be highlighted and then the negative aspects will be dealt with)

4>Conclusion( the speech will be concluded by stressing on the points favoring your stand"

THERE ARE 4 ASPECTS ON WHICH A GENERIC ( 3 minute) DEBATE IS JUDGED

1>LANGUAGE- proper language and grammar

2>EFFECTS- hand gestures, inflection( raising and lowering the pitch of the voice as and when required)

3>FACTS- the facts that are used in the speech

4>DICTION- the clarity of your voice..

(p.s- the way you answer to the interjections also counts)

all of these aspects must be taken care of while delivering a speech..
