seems impressive and easy to use. i had a look at your car list and its wrong you list mondeo II and mondeo III wrong. both of these are mondeo III its just the later ones are facelifted. i cant find a listing for mondeo tddi does that mean they cant be done? theyre from approx 2000 to 2002 and uk models are 115ps although ireland and european models can be 90ps.

also buying this system can you use it f or just your own car or can you do others too?

@totalguy - your tddi mondeo is the same ecu as the transit 2.0 tddi so can be done - the RemapPro is a single car use device - you can remap as many cars as you like with it but only one at a time. i.e. you would have to revert your car back to standard before the RemapPro could be configured to work with another vehicle - it is not designed as a dealer tool, although you can get a dealer version which has no restrictions on it

@RemapPro i dont suppose you know if theres any limits on injectors and fuel pump's some people said icouldnt reach 180bhp but they said the fuel pump would be stopping it. ive already had 178 out of it but since added modifications. are they talking crap?

@totalguy - Injectors, pump, turbo, clutch, gearbox are all limiting factors - I wouldnt attempt to run a car like this at 180hp unless you have had mods done to all of the above

every car engine is different that's why two identical cars will never have the exact same power output because the factory uses one ECU map which is not the best one for every engine. same thing here, I don't believe you can achieve max power with some universal remap downloaded from some website. cheers

excellent - a PROPER remap device, not to be confused with a crude tuning box.

Well worth paying out for this as it works. Don't forget to inform your insurance company as it will be void using this - so you will be driving without insurance unless you inform them. Your car warranty is also void. Make sure you save the original car map to put back on if required. Definitely the way to tune, just don't buy one of those crappy piggyback tuning boxes which are crude voltage multipliers!

@lkly2l no sorry this car is not on the list, it works mainly on year 2000 onwards. Some earlier cars did not have the ability to be remapped via the vehicles diagnostic port.

there are a few bikes that can be remapped, however very few tools that are able to do them. There is not one tool that can do all vehicles and unfortunately the remappro (as good as it is) cannot do bikes

no you cannot disable an immo with this or any other tuning device. the method to remove immo (decoding) depends on the car in question.

NO - They are not the same for every same type of vehicle - The mod files are not in the device, you have to send your vehicles original file which is then custom modified according to the individual customers requirements (this takes into account the age, mileage of the vehicle as well as the results desired by the customer) There are some devices on the market that do provide a one size fits all mod file with the device
