Horse pulling is only cruel if the trainer uses mean training methods, like in ANY kind of sport there are some cruel trainers. And if the horse dosent want to do what ever the owner wants and makes it, thats also cruel should find what the horse has heart for. People arnt happy being forced to do things we dont want so why make animals. I know a few drafts that HATE pulling but love working cattle they arnt bred for it but they love doing it.

I think pulling contests are CRUEL!!! If only people knew how these horses are abused in training. I have been born and raised with hitch drafts and I hate to see pulling contests allowed.

@discusdoc you have no clue what your talking about first of all these horses are bread to do is just pull secont of all they aint abused in training they pull rice tiers around and logs to bild mussle and not once do they harm the animal in any way finaly they are eger to pull the sled thats why once they are hooked ther not going to stop untel they are told to

WOW you have not paied any attention when watching a oulling contest have you when these horse are getting ready to pull they are more excited then a littel kid on christmas morning all they want to do is what they where bred to do which it pull
