I don't see why it's called Superman Rebirth... Clark Kent only "becomes" Superman at the very end of Season 10 when he saves Earth. He never was Superman before that, he becomes fully ready at the end of Season 10 to finally fulfill his destiny and that's when he knows what path lies ahead of him and what he must do.

Lana Lang asked Clark I think in the very first episode when they bumped into one another if he's "Man, or Superman" and I believe Lois also said that he's a "Superman" not implying the name Superman, but that he's a man of power. Superman was only mentioned twice through out the series..I'm sure he will call himself Superman in the Finale.

These examples aside, Martha also use the word in season 3 ep 10 -- when Clark has lost his sight and Jonathan has to deal with his health troubles. She argues with the later : "You both think you're supermen who can do everything alone... You need to start relying on people, so does he!" ; )

season 10 sucks. now i cant wait for this show to end. this season could of been so much better. they could of had an alien invasion of darkseid and his peeps coming to earth and taking over and looking for that mathematical thing he is always looking for. they should of stuck with the lex clone instead of turning him into the conner kent clone, now we have some star wars/ghostbuster darkness taking over and lex trapped in lala land realm. i think they just said wtf ever in this season
