Am not going to argue that you don't know how to cycle :P But as you went past the phone boxes approaching the junction i can see the black car signal to turn right, all you gota do is slow down and just face the fact he is going to turn! But what the driver of the corsa should have done was look down that lane you was in and seen you! There is no winner here. You could have slowed down and he should have seen you to let you go as it was your right of way!

This is wrong on so many levels. First the silver car for giving way on a two lane road, then the wannabe race car actually turning right without caring about cyclists / other road users AND giving Gaz the finger. He even may have thought that you were entitled to stop since the driver of the silver car was so "nice" to give way. nice capture and glad you survived. when i was 16 i got into my first car accident in that exact situation. a car stopped to let a old man into a restaurant and he didnt look into the other lane and just drove right into the side of me.

Pair of idiots, the driver should not have stopped to let the car though when there is a cyclist in the inside lane, it is just asking for trouble. That doesn't excuse the driver cutting across your path without looking/caring

This is precisely why, speaking as a car driver, I do not generally let anyone out.. or in, or whatever when driving on a two lane section of road. Unless you are absolutely sure don't do it. The worst thing I have seen is drivers that beckon pedestrians across 2 lanes when they don't know what's coming up the side of them. That situation nearly always (wrongly) lulls the recipient of the gesture into a false sense of safety.
