@kyo1city His name is Toyman Skeet, and he was one of the Electric Boogaloos, he created it in 1978, they taught it to Michael in 1979.

There's an entire history of hip hop culture and the dances that come from it, and none of that history is recorded in any book about MJ, I guarantee you that. @emjayscat All the information you present here is false. Most of Michael's moves are not his creation. Toyman Skeet invented the moonwalk in 1978, the Boogaloos taught it to Michael in 1979. This information I am telling you comes direct from Michael's dance teachers who I have had the privilege of meeting and learning from. No doubt MJ's moonwalk is very smooth, but you cannot credit its creation to him. Same goes with 95% of MJ's moves.

Michael was an amazing dancer, but 95% of the moves he did he did NOT invent. He just always gets credit for them because he was the first to bring them into the mainstream, so I wouldn't be so quick to say that nobody is better than MJ.
