I thought the platinum recorded in HD, i can get better quality with my easycap sometimes :/ and it's not an official one

@MojoPJ11 Nope, idk why the platinum is platinum actually :| think its cause it comes with pinnacle studio. if you wanna record hd get a hd pvr, probably alot cheaper now than they used to be.

Wow that's annoying, yeah HDPVR's are about £150 now, you can get them for a bit cheaper tho, haven't got an HDTV yet, but is it worth going from an Easycap to a Dazzle ? My easycap isn't official but is still pretty good

@MojoPJ11 Hmm I'm not sure.. both only record standard def but I don't know which will be better. The quality should be similar so I wouldn't bother upgrading tbh.

Yea, because the quality of my Easycap is just a bit better than yours (i had videos up b4 but i deleted them because i deleted my account) and i only payed £3 on ebay haha and a dazzle is £40 ! There not worth it ! Thanks for the help tho and happing gaming :)

my dazzle is plugged in fione but my tv cant find any signal and my xbox doesnt turn on properly when i plug the dazzle in ( ive tried with my friends dazzle aswell and it doesnt work)

hey studio is better than mm not vegas and its noot showing up becuz you need to go to pinaccle and go to cap and click setup at the top and pick your cap card whatever brand it may be

Click the little camera on settings The change it to compisite or whatever its called. Then find AMCap > Options capture filter> CHoose secam_B

Soz you can only record and play at the same time using TV not HDTV. Unless you buy a HD capture card your not going to be able to play on HD and record in HD. I would suggest trying to get used to it over time. I can play in SD now and still be quite good. No way around it I dont think mate sorry.. not that i know of anyway. For games like COD I get what you mean if you cant see ur f'ed.

hey i have just got a dazzle and i have had to unplugmy hd cable to put the origanal xbox lead the red yellow and white 1 and have had to put my display settings to pal-60 and the quality is really bad is there any way i can still keep my hd cable plugged and still have the dazzle working please help curz i cant play the quality is so poor
