if you want it the most correct: it should be pronounced like a 'b' or a 'v' XD

the letter 'ß' is the greec letter bèta.

Bèta is pronounced as a 'b' in old greec and as a 'v' in the new greec.

so...i should be: Weib Kreuz or: Weiv Kreuz to be completly correct.

i studied latin and had a part old greec and because we go to greece alot on vacation a can read also new greec XD so there you have it XD but to be honest? i don't get why they used bèta anyway XD it has such a stange pronouncing XD

....for "ß" like Beta you´re right..but the titel is german and weiß means white and kreuz means cross

And the letter ß means ss (pronunciation: the letter befor "ß" is long spoken and the "s" is short).

If you write "weib"...that is very bad because its a bad word for a woman.

Weiss Kreuz was one of the best anime I've discovered in the 90s. The plot, the theme songs, the characters, were all very dynamic and EPIC. Good god. The men were hot as hell too.

Actually... it's both. ^^; Weiss or Weib. Technically both are incorrect. ^^; The series is called Weiß Kreuz. The ß character is pronounced like an 's' so people use 'ss' to convey the feeling. However the character LOOKS like a 'b' so people use 'b' for the looks... but... well - there, made my point ^^;
