I wanna like this version but I dunno, it just seems like a lot of noise. Obviously everyone has their own opinion (as dispalyed in the comments below) just mine is that this particular performance is a bit messy. Messy can be good. Messy can be awesome. I just don't dig this one. But who knows? Maybe it'll grow on me. I DO enjoy their energy on the stage.

I do not like people who absolutely want to hear "the studio version" when they go see a concert. I find it boring, not very open minded and unoriginal ... That those who want it should not watch the SP shows ... This version is very good! Personally I am tired of hearing this song at every concert ... Especially since Billy can not sing it with as much power as before. So I'd be happy to hear new versions! And that kind of surprise is one of the reasons why I love SP !

What the hell people. This isn't that bad. Just cause they don't play it the way you want to hear it doesnt make it bad. It's their song to do with as they please. I personally like this one. It shows a whole different level of emotion. The sheer sound of the choruses makes me think of a young angry Billy, flipping out in anger towards everything that ever caused him trouble. So just chill and listen people, you like or you don't.

the drummer can't play it like jimmy so he plays it the session drummer way its hard to explain unless you a big pumpkins fan with out jimmy the band lost its back bone.

jimmy chamberlin in my opinion was one the best drummers in the world and had a very unique style of playing.

Why are people complaining about this? They changed the sound of the song, but if you listen to many of Smashing Pumpkins live performances you would know Billy Corgan does this with a lot of his songs and a lot of the time it works out better that the album version. That drummer is Kenny Aronoff, this would've been the Adore tour, which was before Jimmy returned to the band. He's an awesome drummer but I still feel that the Pumpkins lacked something without Jimmy there.
