This video is a real eye opener. While I'm all for shutting down these horrible fur factories I think thoses animal activists that released those mink are totally irresponsible. Kind of defeats the purpose of release the mink when the free mink in turn spread disease and kill other innocent animals. I live quite near this fur farm and thanks to those animal activists there are no swans in the area and lots of pets including my rabbits have died because of diseases spread by these freed mink.
Personally i hate fur farms, their owners, and those who buy their products. but what really gets me is the people who "liberate" the mink. Short sighted idiots who are responsible for the extinction of the corncrake from Ireland, of which only 50 breeding pairs remain in the Shannon Basin, whom are protected by wildlife rangers stopping the onslaught of the invasive predator the mink. I have seen them kill signets, trout, mallard and a juvenile heron. STOP RELEASING THEM INTO OUR COUNTRYSIDE !
thanks ALF, great video!! its about time people see what happens in these hell holes, only knuckle draggers continue to wear the fur of another animal...ive protested outside one of these places in Ireland and there well hidden from the public, Irelands shame!! close them down!
@kimberlily1981 I'm not saying they don't but the ALF are completely irresponsible for realeasing mink where they did, Irish biodiversity is gong to decrease ten fold in the next few decades.
I wish I could kill those that kill the voiceless, there is no gawd dam good reason to wear fur,we no longer live in the neanderthal era but some still do and perfer to.
@killians57 God will take care of the wrongs that have been committed. It is up to us to work peacefully together to stop more horrific deeds from occurring in the future.
I understand your anger, but, Its not possible to stop violence with violence. Making people aware of the situation is the first step. Then getting them to tell others and to tell their leaders that the situation must be stopped is the next.
Aye I understand wot ye are saying, that arse caught me on a bad day,but everything ye say is absolutely correct, fighting with violence with violence is a no win situation.
@ContaMuir17a I used to believe that, too. I guess in a way I still do, in that I think we should strive to be motivated by the love we feel, as opposed to the anger or hatred. However, I'm not convinced that makes violence off-limits in certain, rare conditions. What do you do when the others are willing to use violence against you, or those being harmed? If we can free them without violence, great, but what if we can't? If the murderer is lunging at your child with a knife...
@kimberlily1983 ... and the only way you can defend your child is by severely harming or killing the murderer, what do you do? I understand that some people think it's always wrong to kill, even in these circumstances, but I can't say I'm one of these people. If there's another way, yes, do that, but in the real world there often isn't. :(
@kimberlily1983 I do understand what you are driving at, and why you feel that way, but if we resort to violence to correct violence are we truly nonviolent? -- The answer to that is obvious. As difficult as it is to believe most people are not truly aware of what is going on in the world. They have been happily conditioned not to ask questions. That is why I rely heavily on graphic visual & auditory evidence to wake people up. Many have thanked me for bringing it to their attention & changed.
@kimberlily1983 It is vital that, along with any other actions people take, that all of us work very strongly to make the cruelty & violence against all innocent beings both seem morality reprehensible & disgusting to the vast majority of people & work strongly to change laws to make this violence illegal & punishable by both incarceration & large fines. Once it is illegal taking actions against it will be much more simple & effective. Acting like criminals closes peoples minds to truth.
@ContaMuir17a You might be right. I find myself going back and forth, sometimes thinking it should always be about non-violence, sometimes thinking it's occasionally necessary to fight fire with fire. I'm a non-violent person, personally, but I just don't feel ready to 100% condemn others' violent actions, when those are done to free others from violence. You could say those people, those warriors are not non-violent, but are they wrong to do what they do? I just can't bring myself...
The ALF didn't unleash an alien species into nature; the fur farm did by creating this situation. I'm for rescuing & keeping these animals safe rather than releasing them, but since I don't even do that, I'm no one to judge. Anyone in the modern world who buys/wears fur is only further downgrading the human race, and that's going pretty low, since many now have to look up to see the cockroach's underbelly. They'll be that low until they stop exploiting/abusing/torturing/slaughtering animals.

These retards releasing mink have destroyed the habitats and put some more of Ireland's species on the endangered list, well done you fucking retards! You unleashed an alien species into a ecosystem that can't cope with it at all! No wonder our salmon stocks are in danger, have you any idea how many fish and birds 1000 mink and their off spring could take? Hypocrites
Ye sir are a feckin arsehole,I would love to strap ye body to a device and anally electrocute ye insides and watch ye die, then peel the flesh of ye body and send it to ye kin!
I'm an arsehole for what? Wanting the native species of my home country to be preserved for future generations to enjoy? Could the ALF not just spend their time wisely and do the thing right by petitioning and going into the manstream media to get furfarms outlawed? Wha you don't seem to realise is that fur farms have insurance which alllows them to replace stock at no expense, you're just wasting your time releasing them.
@tarlachmgc You vastly underestimate the power of big corporations, and the general preference of people to remain ignorant of the horrible suffering caused by their ways of life. I agree that law reform is one area that needs activists - and there are many - but the sad fact is that the many, many years it will take to see change in legislation won't help the ones being tortured now. :(

These pictures look pretty gruesome. But still I would rather wear mink fur than go naked. Speaking of which, Ingrid Newkirk needs to get out and join the Naked protests. I'm sure that would get somebody's attention. **barf**
Thank you for posting this, spreading awareness is needed. I think that if people who wear fur saw what really goes on, many of them would stop wearing it. ALF has all my love and respect for doing this, I would like to join them one day.
