  • Making it now for Dinner ... :)

Never made a Pot Roast in Crock Pot .

So I tho I'd try it this time thx ;)

  • Yeah nice little video, it all looks great but I wish that she would not keep touching her hair it is not hygienic when handling.

    Thank you.

  • i love to see this young mom juggling cooking , video taping, and taking care of her little one at the same time! good work!

  • wow, super easy thanks for the video

  • I just love it that your child is pulling out the stuffed animal. Your child is obviously very happy and well cared for! Great job, Mom! (from an old southern nana)

  • Also use crockpot liners...when food is ready the liner is thrown in the trash and your pot is clean.

  • I use frozen beef stew veggies. the bag includes, potatoes, carrots, pearl onions, celery. I just made a pot roast in the crock yesterday. I used pot roast seasoning packet, beef stock, water and that was it. put it on high for about 4 to 5 hours.

  • The reason your potato's and carrots were still hard is because they weren't submerged in the liquid. I suggest everyone put part of your veggies in first and then the roast... then around the roast add the rest of your veggies.... but before adding the roast - brown it in a frying pan with a little E.V.O.O... also add a little red wine to the crock pot along with ur beef stock or broth... Just saying...

  • yep that's the reason why i want to purchase this product because i can just put the food inside and let it cook and come home after work and all DONE!! THANK YOU

  • brown the meat and add some mushrooms and its Great also!! with the carrots , peepers ,onions, potatoes.

  • onions and green peepers in that is good!!!

  • Excellent and thanks for doing this.

  • I see Hawaiin bread in the back Yummm

  • Cool! I'am going to cook my first one tonight. thanks for your video.

  • Try using Coke or Pepsi instead of broth; gives it a great flavor....

  • I think this looks delicious :-)

  • @zarnac2401 who ever you are your an asshole it seems like she know how to cook and you did take the time to watch her whole video. She is a busy mom and she is reaching out to busy mothers and she is trying to show people how to make a simple healthy meal. Everyone have there own way of making a pot roast and that is her version so please show her respect.

  • Thats how I do it. But I just use water. :)

  • Awesome recipe

  • @zarnac2401 yeah...not a professional cook hun...not trying to be. This is just how i cook it for my family.

  • @TrulyBlesssed5586 Yeah I agree with You! God Bless You Sister. That zarnac2401 is just jealous! Only extremely insecure clowns make comments like that! The only constructive criticism I wouldd pass along to you is to prior to slow roasting in the crock pot is to 1 (if you have one -> Sear the roast on High for 2 min a side.( 1st pat dry the roast with a paper towel prior to searing, This way your meat actually sears instead of boils) Then add the roast to the crock pot.

  • @zarnac2401 Explains your IQ. You mad bro? being 42 with no life? shes cooking for her family man. Go get a hobby or a hug or something.

  • Also The way your food looks has a lot to do with how much appetite you create in people, it didnt looks as appetizing. Just constructive critizism. xoxo

  • I think you missed a lot of ingredients to make it tastier thoug. The seasoning is everything and I think you missed that, like adding wine, some good beef bouillon etc. You used the organic beef broth which is good and healthy but is almost tasteless. Also very important make sure you wash the meat before putting it in the crock pot, its hygenic. Also the end result didn't look as thick as I think it should be. Other than that you look like an awesome busy mom!!!

  • Great! now I'm hungry, thanks a lot.

  • haha cool I just guessed and then went looking for videos hoping I didn't do something horrible haha thanks :D

  • Excellent instructions!

  • I'm just getting into crock pot cooking and I came across your excellent video, I got some great ideas from this and hope to try them out one day.

  • I just turned on the crock pot! Looks like it'll be a midnight feast, it's about 6 pm!

  • nice video thanks for takin the time to show us how easy it really is!!

  • Thank you for sharing! I'll def try it.

  • i just made this, now to wait for it to cook, thanks :)

  • we got the stuff to make it today and i'm making it tomorrow haha!!

  • pot roast? how much pot should I add?

  • o heck yea! my hubby wants me to use our roaster thing, but i've yet to. heehee perhaps i will steal your recipe!!!

  • @raecelestek haha you should! Its really good....if you want it to have more flavor try using cream of mushroom soup and onion soup mix along with the beed broth! My favorite thing about it though is that its so stinkin easy!

  • Mmmmmm looks yummy!! When we make ours we use:

    2 cans mushroom soup

1 (or 2 cups) of beef broth

1 package of onion soup mix

    and then the veggies!

Its AMAZING & Im not a mushroom fan at all but it turns out fantastic!

  • @Billabonglova That does sound good!!! Im not much of a cook....at all!!! I will try it with the cream of mushroom soup next time....and the onion soup mix! I bet it would have a lot more flavor that way!
