wow i didnt know this type of massage was related to yoga wow,i had practitioner who did thai massage and its incredibly good for spine but he retired now i have to look for new one.but i can tell this guy is good what he is doing and he doesnt need to be smoother like some people think.

i know that thai massages are done with all clothes on. I think that it would lose some effect if there were less or no clothes. i watch this almost daily before i go to sleep at night.

Lovely work. Great flow, pace and relaxed style. Thanks for posting. I agree with other comments that many of my clients can't do a lot of the more advanced positions. Most cannot sit comfortably for the seated positions. I use commoner style Thai Massage (working with my feet) for the larger folks as I am not a large strong fellow like Damien. This video is a good review for me for the occasional person that I get that practices Yoga and is flexible.

can you use a big person for your demonstration? because all the time my client are big person not like your model a petite woman. i would like to see if there's any difference in your sequence?

@rquirosjr the sequence will always change.. it is my intention to create bodywork that is tailored to the needs of every single client individually. A bigger client will change rhythm, transitions and depth of movement. I will always encourage you to play on the edge of the threshold. But, if for one moment the clients face winces, back off. and work within the clients ability to receive your work, 100%. This way you are sure to be efficient with your energy.

No, honestly: there are SO MANY very pleasant things you can do within a treatment. With a heavy person one should NOT do things like at 8:00. Do meridian energy treatment instead, and do it calm and slow.

It is very important not only WHAT you do but HOW you do it and that you do it with a warm heart.

my only comment is the pillow used in the beginning i too high, use a folded towel instead...you can see its too high because of how she moves her head alot and the neck shouldnt be kinked forward while lying on her back

This guy has great technique. My only complaint is all these videos always use a petite woman. In the real world we don't all have 105 lb women. I've done thai massage on clients that were 200 lb and it's not as easy or as "pretty" as these demonstrations are.

Not only would those clients that are 200lbs look better and feel better if they lost 50lbs, they would also be in better physical condition.
