MITO Reliability is terrible! Mine has been towed back to the dealer twice in the last 6 months. I have driven it like a monk and I have now got to have a new gearbox at 12000 mile. Looked at reports on the internet and several people have had the same problem. Fault will be rectified under warranty and the dealer couldn't have been more helpful. But with the gearbox failing at only 5mph my mind wonders what would have happened at 60mph. I am thinking of part ex for a Polo.

Still got a shit poor reliability reputation.Neighbour has had to get a full refund on his after 3 attempts by dealer to fix it. 2 gearboxes in 1000 miles - big fail.

@cito117 Once i saw a Mito sitting in a parking lot in Michigan and freaked out. I don't think it's sold here though. America isn't listed on the Alfa site so i'm assuming it was speacially imported for the owner.

I have a 9 yr old 156 metallic red sportwagon (4yrs owned) and been faultless.

Also a 6yr old GTV red (7months owned) new pads, oil and filter, a joy to own.. Both my cars look new and drive like an alfa should, Alfa's are reliable if serviced properly....forza alfa
