Not all of the underaged parents end up working minium wage jobs and starving their kids. I'm definitely pro-gay marriage... Love is love, and who the hell is the government to say that one person's love is any less justified than anyone else's? That being said, I'm still against abortion. As a Pagan, I would never be able to do something like that... it's still taking a human life, and it still violates the "harm none" thing. I realize though, that others may not hold the same beliefs... so I guess that makes me pro-choice?

A lot of these places are run by christian organizations, thus it would be against their religion to allow gay couples to adopt as it could be seen as supporting homosexuality. I believe it's their right as a religious organization to decide for themselves what kind of couples be allowed to adopt from them. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, I'm just saying it's their choice to make for themselves and not for us to make for them.

Not all teenage mothers will give their children low quality of life. I might just be biased though because my mom had me when she was 18, but shes done really well, She just got her masters in nursing. My mom never let the fact that she had me hold her back though, like so many teenage mothers do.

About abortion, I am against that. For the reason that 8/10 abortions in the US are not for medical reasons, but for convience issues. I agree foster care is not the answer, the problem is our society as a whole. Every child should be valued and brought up in a loving home. I kinda wish that humans had a organ that could judge thier maturity and make it impossible to reproduce at a certain point. So the solution is a change in the entire thought process of the world today (IMHO)

The part aobut a bad living enviorment though is concerning. To me its like asking a person would you be open to be tortured for awhile if you got set free afterwards, or would you rather just die and not go through that?

Besides the rape and incest, there's also the subject of genetic disorders being passed on. Even though I'm not supposed to be able to have a child, if I did find out I was pregnant, there's no way i would want to risk that child growing up and possibly having to go through what I did. Life is beautiful, I will agree, but there are always circumstances hard for others to understand where abortion might be the best option.

Personally, I believe life is life and you have to take into consideration how the woman got pregnant in the first place. It's not exactly the "person who's against it"'s responsibility. On the other hand, I think abortions should at least be circumstantially justified.Like rape cases and what not. Consequences for faking a rape claim would serve as a deterrent. Like the "fake a marriage to get around some laws" thing.
