I am currently a first year engineer. I will have to make a choice into what field to go into for my second year. I really hate chemistry; especially stoichiometry! What field(s) involves the LEAST chemistry?
Great video. Engineering is such a vital field. In fact the whole STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) is in high demand including with our organization,
I got a 27 on my ACT, with 30 on the math section. Could I get into engineering school? I am also not a super math genius; I like math a lot, but I'm concerned it would be too difficult to make it through Mechanical Engineering. Does anybody know if I should try it or not? Or have any advice for me?
@Thebrowntown1234 You don't need to jump right into a 4 year program. Start at a community college and solidify your core skills such as math and physics. Most also have some of the standard basic engineering classes such as electric circuits, statics, and materials which will allow you to transfer and complete your degree in typically 2.5 to 3 years at an engineering college.
