@Deldrox Perhaps, but what of those civilizations that precede the Sumerians have written documentation, language systems, mathematics and science as detailed and accurate as the Sumerians, Incans, Egyptians, the creators of the Stone Henge, ect. None. It either suggests that they were not capable of such, which makes them insignificant; or they intended to destroy the evidence of their being, which also makes them insignificant.
All religion is derived from the first and most intelligent civilization to ever have lived on the Earth. Though the claim is made that a form of monotheism existed during the reigns of Pharaohs Amenhotep III and Amenhotep IV (Akhenaton), when the worship of the sun-god Aton became nearly exclusive, it was not a true monotheism. The Pharaoh himself continued to be worshiped as a god. Any suggestion that the monotheism of Moses writings derived from Egyptian influence is therefore completely without foundation.

The posts below concerning the plaigarization of Egypts history are to read from the 'top down'. Bottom line the entire Biblical story is a compenddium of other peoples histories and stories, maligned, twisted and plaigarized (an attempt to pass some elses story off as your own, this is an historical crime....today we call it IDENTITY THEFT). This is identity theft on a Global scale and it ...is... WRONG (and should be considered a crime against humanity)
So when the bible talks about flooding.. they stole that from the world? because it seems that there are a lot of cultures that have a version of the flood account... I guess whoever wrote the bible was just a mean old thief.
you know that bible didnt came from god, some writers wrote it,(or stole as u said) and who ever wrote it they knew this from someone else , all the prophets came in one massege "to adore one God ",so people before jesus knew about the flood too ,u cant say he is a thief!! I mean how could he know about it if no one told hem about it? bible is not the word of god.
The STORY of Solomon was PATTERNED specifically after the life of AMENHOTEPIII. The name Solomon itself, which literally means "peace" or "safety" points to Amenhotep III whose long and pervasive reign in the 14th Century B.C. did not include any major military campaigns, but was characterized by unprecedented stability throughout the Near East
I guess the only big difference between a Egyptian ruler and a worshiper of the true God Jehovah is that.. well egyptians worshiped many false gods and the Israelite worshiped ONE God. so yeah your right.. Solomon wanted to be just like AMENHOTEPIII.
Amenhotep III, known in ancient times as the "King of Kings" and "Ruler of Ruler's," was a Pharaoh of Egypt's glorious 18th Dynasty. He, like Solomon, inherited a vast empire whose influence extended quite literally from the Nile to the Euphrates. In CONTRAST to the empire of Solomon, the empire of Amenhotep is INDISPUTABLE.
The buildings, monuments, documents, art, and numerous other vestiges of his reign are ubiquitous and unparalleled (with the possible exception being those left by the 19th Dynasty Pharaoh, Ramses II).
The administration and taxation system of Amenhotep with its 12 districts is IDENTICAL TO THAT OF SOLOMON as described in the Bible (1 Kings 4:2-7,27; 5:13; 9:23). Amenhotep also dedicated himself to rediscovering the wisdom, mysteries and traditions of earlier Egyptian Dynasties. A strong relationship has been established between the "Proverbs of Solomon" in the Bible and the "Maxims of Amenhotep III" found in Egypt.
The court of Amenhotep III was an extremely liberal one, and reflected every possible excess of an affluent and secure kingdom. Eroticism in art and court life reached its height during the reign of Amenhotep. The famous "nude dancing girls" mural dates to Amenhotep's reign. As with Solomon, Amenhotep denied himself nothing "his eyes desired" and "refused his heart no pleasure" (Ecclesiastes 2:10).
The earliest versions of the Book of the Dead date to Dynasty 17, about 3,600 years ago. The earliest versions of the Old Testament were probably first penned in the eighth century BCE, around 800 years later. There is no tangible or meaningful connection between Egyptian deities and the Judeo-Christian Yahweh, regardless of how people try to spin it. The Book of the Dead itself has nothing to do with Judaic precepts.
I've awakened. Did the Assyrians have something similliar does anyone know? I haven't gotten there yet I am just now learning about the Torah of Machiach?
"The original foundational matter of the Mosaic writings is not, was not, historical at all, but ENTIRELY MYTHICAL.....The myths of EGYPT will be found to have been COPIED and REPRODUCED. THE HEBREWS TOOK THEM FROM THE EGYPTIANS, with other stolen goods, and were UNABLE or DID NOT CHOOSE to render a TRUE account of them.
The Christ story was copied from the Egyptians. Horus is Christ. Isis the virgin is Mary. Dec 25th the birth. THe commandments are found in the book of the dead'The coming into day Spell 125. How is it that you can say it has nothing to do with Judaic percepts??
Dont even bother dismantling Hebrew authenticity. Its not even a BC religion....thats the really the BIGGEST HOAX the jews got away with. Christianity actually came first. The 11th century scholar Rashi created sepher hayasa lterature.."Books of the Upright ones" ie. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob etc, He taught and disseminated it to the Knights Templars who in turn disseminated to certain demographics of the population. This is in fact how Judaism was born. EVERYTHING ELSE IS FABRICATED.
It was created for the Banker class of people *the Barons and the Lombards) who were at odds with the Catholic Church. Were talk'n huuuuge beef here. Rashi created and produced two formulas for the Baron class (later to be called Jews). One formula was for how to interact amongst themselves & the other was for how they should operate in business and amongst the masses.....this became Judaism. It was a 'class' related religion from it's inception.
I knew this as fact about 5 days ago. But fact it is yes. Sometimes you have to change your beliefs when you realize what you believe is a lie. One wants to find the true myth or god and cannot be held back from the truth by tradition.
"The Book of the Dead itself has nothing to do with Judaic precepts".
'kmtsesh'
BULLSH*T.....just because you say it...doesnt make it so. The old testament being placed in the BCE era is an academic hoax. No primary sources and the ones they do produce are given fictitious dates by institutions who cater to Greco Roman Christian Judaic interests behind the scenes...that's a fact...i should know.
I don't know what you're problem is with ancient Judaism, but archaeology has established beyond doubt that Judah arose as a kingdom in the Early Iron Age, around 1000 BCE. That cannot be disputed--to try to do so is merely historical revisionism, which no one takes seriously. And please refrain from inventing terms: there is no such thing as "Greco Roman Christian Judaic."
My first problem with so called 'ancient Judaism' is that, the term in and of itself is a misnomer.....the 'religion' doesn't warrant the term 'ancient'. Judeo Christian 'scholarship' has done everything humanly possible to 'place' 'these people' in places and times that the historical record shows they never occupied. Im not interested in your fictitious dates or literary heresay.....because at the times you've proffered already they themselves say their method was ORAL. Next!
You say 'kmtsesh' that Sir EA Wallis Budge's work is outdated and no longer reliable....this wreaks of 'selective revisionism' to me, revising that which flies in the face of your academic ideology. Double standards anyone?! Me thinks so. would you prefer some of the racist like Reisner, Gardiner etc.? I'll stick with Budges work in that he came about at a time when the European Rennaisance made SOME feel as if they should at least TRY to be intellectually honest and objective.
Anything can be disputed when intellectual honesty is brought to bear.Finding something is one thing, interpretation of the find is subjective as regards 'who' is doing the interpreting. Bottom line as I said before,IT ALL comes from Ancient Egypt and everything else was just a deviation from it or a twisted warped version of it due 2 cultural imposition which is understandable and appreciated. And where we find fault with the misrepresentation of 1 culture at the expense of another,be honest.
To continue, widespread writing in Judah did not begin until the eighth century BCE, by which time the kingdom was well established. Some of the Dead Sea Scrolls date to the Second Temple period, but the oldest evidence for scripture is far before that, from amulets in a tomb at Ketef Hinnom. They bear passages from Numbers and date to the late 7th century BCE, beyond dispute. You don't have to trust me--research it yourself. Historical revisionism does not reflect well on one's character!
Your problem my psuedo intellectual friend is that you've been so indoctrinated into your education that you've been educated as far from the truth as one can get.....but that's the whole purpose of education in the end isnt it? Irregardless as to how the origin of literacy amongst the haripus began certain facts remain depending on which school of thought we choose to follow. The biblical route will beg certain questions as will the archeoligical and linguistic, which route would you frefer ?
'kmtsesh' ....just hysterically laughing at your attempt to us the term 'historical revisionism' as a prejorative. Typical, reminds of people who use the term 'Black' when referring to people of that shade of color as if they've somehow have just called them something that should be considered an insult; humerous to say the least and intellectually dishonest. Allow me to bring you up to speed with the rest of wolrd......HISTORY NEEDS TO BE REVISED!!!; actaully scrapped and begun again.
U R the kind of person 'kmtsesh' who still feels it's perfectly ok to say that 'Christopher Columbus' discovered America as if there werent already a few million human beings already living here. To call that the monstrosity of a lie that is,woulld be called 'revisionist history'. If EVIDENCE & FACTS dictiate revision, then call me a revisionist,I'll proudly assume the mantle.Better than being a pseudo- intellectual parroting everything established European intitutions pass off as 'facts'
White supremacy ie. racism (the historical handmaidens of the Greco-Roman,Judeo Christian world)is not relgated only to overweight inbred rednecks in the American south.....it hides in expensive suits sporting Phds and even makes the purveyer of it oblious to the fact that he/she themselves are contaminated with it. Therefore all 'scholarship' emanating from these institutions is SUSPECT to say the least, particularly when it comes to ancient peoples who are usually people of COLOR.
Next you'll be telling us 'kmtsesh' that the Ancient Greeks were not educated by the Ancient Egyptians. And if they were (and they were) this would also lend itself to the appreciation of why so much that is Greek is Hebrew and why so much that is Hebrew is Ancient Egyptian in many (not 'all') regards.
The structure adjacent to Jerusalem's Temple Mount, known traditionally as "Solomon's stables," is consistent with the architecture of Amenhotep's garrison cities. Archaeology has also confirmed that chariots were kept in these cities during his reign in groups of between thirty to one hundred and fifty each.
"The whole Christian Bible was derived from the sacred books of Egypt, such as:
THE BOOK OF THE DEAD, THE PYRAMID TEXTS, AND THE BOOKS OF THOTH." EA Wallace Budge (Keeper of the Egyptian and Assyrian Antiquities at the British Museum)
"I'll go with Budge before I go with you 'kmtsesh'
The Christian Bible is the New Testament. It has extremely few associations with pagan Egypt. The Old Testament, however, definitely bears influences. Not from the Book of the Dead, however. It's a common assumption people make but it's not correct. Judaism after its henotheistic stages was probably much more directly influenced by Zoroastrianism. And beware of Budge. The man was writing a century ago, and much of his material is outdated. It's no longer considered a stand-alone source.
The network of Egyptian 18th Dynasty garrison cities also included Jerusalem. If construction by Amenhotep III at Gezer, Hazor, Megiddo and other garrison cities is any indication, then a magnificent temple undoubtedly was also built by Amenhotep on Jerusalem's venerated Temple Mount.
a throne room built with many wooden columns and whose floor was a painted lake scene (identical to the one crossed in wonder by the Queen of Sheba when she approached the throne of Solomon, as described in the Koran); a separate palace built for Sitamun, "the daughter of Pharaoh;"
a royal palace (consisting of his own residence, the residence of his Great Wife, Tiye, and a residence for the royal harem).
In addition to the projects already mentioned, Amenhotep also built a completely new palace complex in Thebes. The new royal residence INCLUDED ALL of the elements contained in the palace complex of Solomon which are described in the Bible (1 Kings 7:2-12), namely: a house made almost entirely out of cedars of Lebanon (built for Amenhotep's Jubilee festival); a colonnade (hall of columns) fronted by a portico (porch) and surrounded by a column-lined courtyard;
Chapter CXXV. The words which are to be uttered by the deceased when he cometh to the hall of Maáti, which separath hin from his sins, and which maketh him to see God, the Lord of mankind (The Ten Commandments)
The book of the dead worships the same god. but it puts in question the timely events is all. I believe he is my lord and savior but what is wrong with reading. We were most grown up with the bible. That anything else is against our way of life and that isn't true. I own a copy of the EBOTD. And in chapter 125 or CXXV you have 5 of the 10 commandments here. The question is what came first bible or the b.o.t.d.
Well the book of the dead because the Egyptians were around in about 3500BC long before Jesus there was Horus. This deception is not common knowledge. How many people died because of Christianity a myth and why did they declare everything else as false idols and heresy. Therein was the harm. It isn't like you can shrug it off like that no.
Actually Everything is Possible!! There are proven studies that show levitation through sound alone! So Ask yourself if there are a bunch people chanting the same Note .... Imagine what we could do or move or levitate???? We are awesome beings , not made to make money but made to spiritually enhance one another!
egyptians moved large objects. different age of understanding. they believed there pharoah ascends to the stars. we know that is not possible. but imagine the whole united states beliveing the pharoah. needs a massive pyramid for tombs and all his stuff. you could move anything. is like what they doing to the human race now. but only they working on a bigger plan. pyramid on the back of the dollar.
as for the american people catching up, it's one of my favorite pastimes to study egyptology, and what you can find there is very interesting. did you know that the egyptian book of the dead contains a 'prayer' which resembles the ten commandments almost word for word and predates the ten commandments by about 300 years? that is of course the oldest book of the dead found so far.
God has allways spoken to people thru their consience from the beginning, even the Bible says that man has the wriiten law of God in his consience sometimes.
My friend, apparently you havent read the bible because you claim that this book of the dead is now known as the bible then added that ancient egyptian kings and queens are documented but Jesus isn't.
Read the bible my friend before you humiliate yourself with silly claims.
rewritten as the bible? HAHAHAHA, why don't you say that this was rewritten and known as the Torah? the torah had to be older than the bible, so why blame the bible? got something against Christians? o.0?
Thank god for you! But Jesus was a documented person. That is undeniable. It is what he did however that is not known for sure. I think that the Egyptian religion is much happier than modern christiananity. These people didn't look at homosexuality as a crime&their entrance to heaven depended not on believing in a "savior", but depended on the good deeds you did during life. The bible isn't supposed to be factual, it shows how to be a good person given a certain senario

The name Solomon itself, which literally means "peace" or "safety" points to Amenhotep III whose long and pervasive reign in the 14th Century B.C. did not include any major military campaigns, but was characterized by unprecedented stability throughout the Near East
knowitallification 2 years ago 3
I guess the only big difference between a Egyptian ruler and a worshiper of the true God Jehovah is that.. well egyptians worshiped many false gods and the Israelite worshiped ONE God. so yeah your right.. Solomon wanted to be just like AMENHOTEPIII.
myenVisu 2 years ago
Amenhotep III, known in ancient times as the "King of Kings" and "Ruler of Ruler's," was a Pharaoh of Egypt's glorious 18th Dynasty. He, like Solomon, inherited a vast empire whose influence extended quite literally from the Nile to the Euphrates. In CONTRAST to the empire of Solomon, the empire of Amenhotep is INDISPUTABLE.
knowitallification 2 years ago
The buildings, monuments, documents, art, and numerous other vestiges of his reign are ubiquitous and unparalleled (with the possible exception being those left by the 19th Dynasty Pharaoh, Ramses II).
knowitallification 2 years ago
The administration and taxation system of Amenhotep with its 12 districts is IDENTICAL TO THAT OF SOLOMON as described in the Bible (1 Kings 4:2-7,27; 5:13; 9:23). Amenhotep also dedicated himself to rediscovering the wisdom, mysteries and traditions of earlier Egyptian Dynasties. A strong relationship has been established between the "Proverbs of Solomon" in the Bible and the "Maxims of Amenhotep III" found in Egypt.
knowitallification 2 years ago

The Christ story was copied from the Egyptians. Horus is Christ. Isis the virgin is Mary. Dec 25th the birth. THe commandments are found in the book of the dead'The coming into day Spell 125. How is it that you can say it has nothing to do with Judaic percepts??
abby495 2 years ago
Dont even bother dismantling Hebrew authenticity. Its not even a BC religion....thats the really the BIGGEST HOAX the jews got away with. Christianity actually came first. The 11th century scholar Rashi created sepher hayasa lterature.."Books of the Upright ones" ie. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob etc, He taught and disseminated it to the Knights Templars who in turn disseminated to certain demographics of the population. This is in fact how Judaism was born. EVERYTHING ELSE IS FABRICATED.
knowitallification 2 years ago

No primary sources and the ones they do produce are given fictitious dates by institutions who cater to Greco Roman Christian Judaic interests behind the scenes...that's a fact...i should know.
knowitallification 2 years ago
I don't know what you're problem is with ancient Judaism, but archaeology has established beyond doubt that Judah arose as a kingdom in the Early Iron Age, around 1000 BCE. That cannot be disputed--to try to do so is merely historical revisionism, which no one takes seriously. And please refrain from inventing terms: there is no such thing as "Greco Roman Christian Judaic."
kmtsesh 2 years ago
My first problem with so called 'ancient Judaism' is that, the term in and of itself is a misnomer.....the 'religion' doesn't warrant the term 'ancient'. Judeo Christian 'scholarship' has done everything humanly possible to 'place' 'these people' in places and times that the historical record shows they never occupied. Im not interested in your fictitious dates or literary heresay.....because at the times you've proffered already they themselves say their method was ORAL. Next!
knowitallification 2 years ago
You say 'kmtsesh' that Sir EA Wallis Budge's work is outdated and no longer reliable....this wreaks of 'selective revisionism' to me, revising that which flies in the face of your academic ideology. Double standards anyone?! Me thinks so. would you prefer some of the racist like Reisner, Gardiner etc.? I'll stick with Budges work in that he came about at a time when the European Rennaisance made SOME feel as if they should at least TRY to be intellectually honest and objective.
knowitallification 2 years ago
Anything can be disputed when intellectual honesty is brought to bear.Finding something is one thing, interpretation of the find is subjective as regards 'who' is doing the interpreting. Bottom line as I said before,IT ALL comes from Ancient Egypt and everything else was just a deviation from it or a twisted warped version of it due 2 cultural imposition which is understandable and appreciated. And where we find fault with the misrepresentation of 1 culture at the expense of another,be honest.
knowitallification 2 years ago
To continue, widespread writing in Judah did not begin until the eighth century BCE, by which time the kingdom was well established. Some of the Dead Sea Scrolls date to the Second Temple period, but the oldest evidence for scripture is far before that, from amulets in a tomb at Ketef Hinnom. They bear passages from Numbers and date to the late 7th century BCE, beyond dispute. You don't have to trust me--research it yourself. Historical revisionism does not reflect well on one's character!
kmtsesh 2 years ago
Your problem my psuedo intellectual friend is that you've been so indoctrinated into your education that you've been educated as far from the truth as one can get.....but that's the whole purpose of education in the end isnt it? Irregardless as to how the origin of literacy amongst the haripus began certain facts remain depending on which school of thought we choose to follow. The biblical route will beg certain questions as will the archeoligical and linguistic, which route would you frefer ?
knowitallification 2 years ago

If EVIDENCE & FACTS dictiate revision, then call me a revisionist,I'll proudly assume the mantle.Better than being a pseudo- intellectual parroting everything established European intitutions pass off as 'facts'
knowitallification 2 years ago

THE BOOK OF THE DEAD, THE PYRAMID TEXTS, AND THE BOOKS OF THOTH." EA Wallace Budge (Keeper of the Egyptian and Assyrian Antiquities at the British Museum)

It's no longer considered a stand-alone source.
kmtsesh 2 years ago
The network of Egyptian 18th Dynasty garrison cities also included Jerusalem. If construction by Amenhotep III at Gezer, Hazor, Megiddo and other garrison cities is any indication, then a magnificent temple undoubtedly was also built by Amenhotep on Jerusalem's venerated Temple Mount.

a throne room built with many wooden columns and whose floor was a painted lake scene (identical to the one crossed in wonder by the Queen of Sheba when she approached the throne of Solomon, as described in the Koran); a separate palace built for Sitamun, "the daughter of Pharaoh;"
a royal palace (consisting of his own residence, the residence of his Great Wife, Tiye, and a residence for the royal harem).
knowitallification 2 years ago
In addition to the projects already mentioned, Amenhotep also built a completely new palace complex in Thebes. The new royal residence INCLUDED ALL of the elements contained in the palace complex of Solomon which are described in the Bible (1 Kings 7:2-12), namely: a house made almost entirely out of cedars of Lebanon (built for Amenhotep's Jubilee festival); a colonnade (hall of columns) fronted by a portico (porch) and surrounded by a column-lined courtyard;

Epix907 2 years ago
Well the book of the dead because the Egyptians were around in about 3500BC long before Jesus there was Horus. This deception is not common knowledge. How many people died because of Christianity a myth and why did they declare everything else as false idols and heresy. Therein was the harm. It isn't like you can shrug it off like that no.

as for the american people catching up, it's one of my favorite pastimes to study egyptology, and what you can find there is very interesting. did you know that the egyptian book of the dead contains a 'prayer' which resembles the ten commandments almost word for word and predates the ten commandments by about 300 years? that is of course the oldest book of the dead found so far.
