I think its standard tuning with the 6th E string (thickest string) tuned down to C. Try it. You will be amazed at the sound when you get to Am and Em.

Sorry that's confusion. I mean when you play the song in C F am and em. Sounds better capoed. Tune 6th string down 4 steps to C.

Dylan plan with the 6th E string down to C and capo up to higher position. This one though, is in open G tuning. It really nice and nice voice.

awesome that you posted this- i tried playing it in standard tuning beginning with G then hammered to c/g slid up 2 frets then back down to c/g. timing is tricky. i think your version is the correct one.
