I really like this movie, except that Reese Witherspoon's Becky is too likeable; the movie does not reveal the full extent of her ruthlessnes, which is more evident in the book.

The movie is shot absolutely beautifully- vanity fair indeed- but the film was far too short and couldn't possibly live up to the book.

Also not enough of Dobbin- my favourite character as well as Becky.

Taking the film on its own though, it is a good film, and not without some very attractive men :)
