@MrNintoku It's not easy, save up your money as much as possible, befriend a few people and ask them if they'd help fund it. Learn the controls first and get the game down before buying one though as you'll attract a lot of attention and fire and if you don't know how to respond you're fucked
Wow... I was a pilot new to 0.0 when this all went down, and my corp had just settled into DIZ making a new home for ourselves when this all happened. Ill put it bluntly - I cried while watching this video. It was done so beautifully, it brought the strongest feeling of pride to me, even though I now fly for the NC and kill former alliance mates. The reason EVE is the greatest game ever: In other games, developers create lore and stories of war to support the game world. In EVE, that shit happens in real time, with real players taking part in unscripted events that drive the universe.
Are these actually player made events? Don't know if stuff like this actually happens in game in EVE Online or just some story made up (think Machinima is the term?) like the numerous fan made WoW vids that infest youtube.

Like in the real world there are different groups of people and you go to war with them because they dont look like you, they dont talk like you and they hold some territory that you want to have.

Not true. In Nul sec there generally isn't lagg - this is true.
In Low sec fleet fights there is tons of lagg. Doesn't matter how good your pc is or what settings you have the game on, even fights of 150 get laggy and can disconnect clients.

Whats so addictive is that what happens out in null sec is completely player driven, all the politics, the market, the wars, everything... Just ffs plz ccp fix the lag ^^...

@Saco753 Oh this is definitely the real deal. Fleet battles over systems, providences, entire regions and sectors of an alliance might fall.. it happens everyday.

@Saco753 ppl fraps battles when they are in action.. But no these are not planned events. I'v seen small fights turn into massive battles that change the course of alliances.. Eve is completely player driven, politics/the market/war everything... Eve is nothing like WoW...

If only any of the battles I've been in had gone as seamlessly as those seem to have.
The ones I've participated in always degenerated into bloody broad sweeping melees, EW, ECM, ECCM, and all the rest spewing junk every which way.

this video seems to be neutral.. odd i was expecting it to be biased. Great video... reminds me of the introduction to a war tv series, or the end where it describes what happened!

@evilfrogstudios Yes this actually happend in EVE. This is 1 out of the many things that can happen in EVE that is y EVE is one of the best PC games out there tho you have to play for awile to actually take part operations and major Alliance wars like this
