Great movie. Even though saving/improving the lives of seven at the cost of his own doesn't bring back the seven that he killed, he learned the value of life and gave as freely as he could, doing more for those seven than he could ever do for himself. I wish every human being understood this value, not necessarily to give their lives, but to be more responsible for the lives of those around them because once a life is gone, it won't be coming back.

The difference between the rif at 3:12 in 7 pounds compared to Avatar Enemy at the Gates is, Avatar is in 4/4 tempo while 7 pounds is in 3/4 tempo at the riff. Interesting how both composers made it fit in their own way.

Yeah, it is a variation indeed, just like avatar was a variaton from the theme of "Enemy at the gates" in some of the soundtrack of enemy at the gates u will find a pretty --if not the same-- similar sound to this and the score of avatar

7:00 and forward is my favorite because its when he's flashing back to the actual car crash and when the jellyfish is killing him... I had the worst cry watching this film. the type of cry when you can't breathe so you pause and cry harder.. it felt so personal to me. 10/10 movie, Thanks Will.

I made the mistake in watching this film on a business class flight to Dubai, im male and was 40...the woman seated next to me must of thought i was deranged

she even asked me if i was ok?...im no good with sad films...The Champ, Love Story, Highway To Heaven, Little House On The Prairie, ET, Ghost...you name it and i've cried to it....but the worst was that American Idol, the young man who's girlfriend was in the car crash and got brain damage....i was ill..it was so sad.
