When I heard an African American was running for office, I was intrigued and listened to him, but after one speech I knew he was a bad man, and was not worthy of the honor of being the first black president. Well, to be frank- the wealth is too concentrated. The top 20% owns 85% of the wealth in this country. The bottom 40% are in the red. That's the biggest gap in 90 years. I believe in the most good for the most people- and giving tax cuts to billionaires is only a beneficial to a handful of a people. The promised jobs that this entire trickle down theory is predicated on are non-existent. We've tried for 30 years, and all that happened was the rich got richer. Time to tax.

@jerseyman34 Conservative policy is what led to the bailouts (the auto bailouts are paid back. Bush's bailouts are not), conservative policy ruined the economies of Latin American countries forcing citizens to seek work here (and studies show they actually contribute POSITIVELY to the economy). You conservatives need to learn the facts before you speak. But Fox 'News' doesn't deal in fact so you'll never learn.

This feud is scripted to boost ratings. Anyone who can't see this is very simple minded. Reality shows are all scripted. Otherwise they would be too boring to watch. Just see, Sr. and Jr. will be hugging by the end of the season. Their show's contract is up this year too. Don't you think they needed some major drama to increase ratings and get a sweet, new contract?

Frankly, I don't care about politics here, it's always the same kind of people who are in it and nothing really changes. In politics here they have been trying to form a working government for 2 months now without succes. Let alone the fact, that they decided that we, the tax payers, have to cough up 18 billion Euro for misstakes bankers etc made. So basically, I do not care indeed.

@Brad5112 i would bet you all our national debt that mccain would have our country in a better position than obama has it in now. dude, look at the facts: our debt is increasing by 4.12 billion dollars a day. obama spent more in his first year than any president in their term(s). so what does he do to help unemployment? he signs another stimulus and spends even more money that we don't have. he's trying to change the american way from capitalism to socialism. this is just one example..

The money he spent in his first year was to jump-start the economy where Bush screwed up. He allowed hard working americans who lost their jobs(due to Bush policies)to support their families, if only for a little while. And get over it! This country is already part socialist, not due to Obama. Their were programs like welfare already in place before and during the Bush years.

@Brad5112 pres. bush did hurt the economy, but obama has dug it even deeper, you can't deny that. americans didn't lose their jobs because of the bush policies, and if you continue to believe that they did, give me real facts. with welfare and social security, those are socialist programs, but in obama's ideal world, he would have everything socialist! and it's been proven that socialism doesn't work many times, because it's just not a good system. it can be manipulated so easily.

@RuneScapeForDummies as i said before, i believe the money obama spent was needed. Remember when Bush signed a $780+ billion bailout(just before he left office)? did that not put us in debt. Remember when clinton brought down our national debt over $360 billion? What was it after Bush left? Bush spent alot of money and was not concerned about debt until he left. because then everyone would, he seemed to hope, would blame someone else.
