There is no need for a singular distribution process, and thinking as though everyone values monetary wealth the same is delusional.
Do you have a problem with someone acquiring a lot of wealth if they are acquiring it without negative externalities and because they offer people things/services they prefer? I don't. But that's not all there is in the so-called 'private sector'.
Gov. contracts incentivize socially destructive products and services, R&D of 'better' ways to oppress, monitor, imprison, etc. This is all the product of the social mysticism that positive law is moral and legal exclusion is necessary. You're one of the mystics. The so-called 'regulatory' regime prospers with faith that power is earned, 'public' is compassionate, and political class has more potential of predicting and preventing disaster and victimization than those they crowd out and deprive
You missed the point. I am actually an anti-authoritarian! Please learn my position before you actually try to criticize it. I don't believe in states so I don't push for "singular distribution." I'm guess you joined the latest pop fad on YT of being a Austrian Economist.
Stupid fucking cunt. I'm sorry but there is no other way to express this. You are a stupid fucking cunt. One of those morons that immediately invalidates anyone criticizing capitalism to themselves by making some character assassination that makes no sense. You are on the same levels as Republicans yelling "communism" on anyone who disagrees with any of their points, be they social or economic. A big fuck you.
One thing I don't understand is why after-tax income increased more than before-tax income for all quintiles. Were they using different measurements for the two things?
Hey lefty.. You should read 'Veblen's - The Theory of the Leisure Class' if you haven't already. Practically the first book theorizing materialism. It's really good!
Comparing the US to Norway is silly. They're the complete polar opposites. The public sector in Norway is bigger than its private sector. Taxes in Norway are higher than the US because their universal health care, paid parental leave, and other welfare services do not come for free. The Norwegian government controls 31.6% of publicly-listed companies, including the biggest bank and oil company.
That cannot happen in America, especially when government does not know how to govern.
I was wondering, i've been all over the internet, but I can't find the source from which you took the productivity and average real earnings graphic. Could you (or somebody else) provide a link, please?

I am in the bottom 90% and I love my life. Sorry, but I don't need mansions and such. I have no envy for those who do. I work hard and have a great life. Sorry to not be shocked some NFL players, politicians, or Hollywood Celebs are rich.
you're 1 - missing the point: it's not about mansions. imagine how much you (or other ppl) could have done with your (or their) life if you weren't forced to work 40hrs a week. you love your life because you don't know any other way.
2 - being kind of selfish. maybe YOU love your 40hr/wk life, but most people don't. it's not about how YOU or I feel about issues, it's about being rational and fair.

If you can't fit Family into a 40 hour workweek, you are doing something wrong. I work more than that and still make my family a priority. Steeling from those who work to give to those who do not, does not accomplish character.
nobody knows how that's going to work out for you... let's see what kinds of kids your kids raise, and then we'll know what kind of a parent you were... what we DO know is that the more time you can devote to your children's upbringing, the better for your children.
your criticizing someone you dont know not being able to talk witht their family or be a family in a 40hr work week family is quite literally preoccupied with the stuff out side the family like education or work if you think about it School Work Work house work financial work and food and sleep the est you could do is probably an hour to yourself
We have created the system of keeping up with the Jone's. We now carp that we don't have enough family time because we want "things". I didn't make up the system, but I don't carp about people who were willing to sacrifice to get what they want either.
Yea, Ive toned it down in my latest videos. I think the problem is that while Im editing the sound, I already know what Im saying so I cant hear the music obscuring my voice. Trust me, this wasnt my intent. Anyway, hope you come back soon.
first, thanks for the video - much appreciated. secondly - why not remix-the video with the music turned down? and lastly - there's something called a "ducker". it's a piece of hardware found in most recording studios. basically you run your mic, and another audio line through it. when you talk into the mic, the ducker automatically takes the music level down, until you're done talking. though i guess you could probably get that in software these days. thanks again
Thank you Ronald Reagan, Ronald Raygun, bought and paid for, he and his wife flash the sign of the devil same as the Bush Family. It is satanic, more than doubled the bombers in the lie of Vietnam, Ronald said the ketchup was a vegetable in the school lunch program for our children. The Nazi party was the forerunner of the Republican Party. Anyone with a brain would check out the: Vatican Ratline, sick mofos have sex with their own daughters, that is satanic, check out: "bomemian grove."

Thank you for that intellectual response.
If you would like people to respect your views and not see you as a simple-minded troll, I would recommend responding to specific points.

We are circulating a petition in Hawaii to run a candidate for Governor in the Single Payer Party.
The biggest issue Americans care about today is health care. We are looking for candidates to run for Governor,
& all the top 10 offices.
If you can help, if you know anyone in Hawaii, who is willing to run,
please write a comment & give us your email.
We will be doing a fund raising benefit for SSP-Ha in September. Please join us.
