I got 6 tubes drawn. I remember I almost passed out, lol. I couldn't hear and was seeing pure white. They finally got me some Mountain Dew and that got me back up pretty good. My left arm is still pale and purple.

i have a massive needle phobia and when i was younger and i had a blood test i couldn't feel it at all and i was looking directly at it when it was put in just think you wont die it will be over in a matter of seconds.

I am 13, I've had like 5 blood tests so far. My first 2 were different. They were taken by using a normal syringe. It hurts when you do that because the blood is PULLED out of the veins. It forces the vein or sort of sqeezes it. Sounds brutal but it's not a big deal. And the normal blood tests just collect the blood that comes out of the pierced area. This morning, I had to give 5 of 15 ml vials. It was fun watching the blood gushing out :P I'm not scared of injections and stuff.

For all the people scared of needles... There are Phlebotomists out there, like myself, that have had it done pretty much everyday in school.

And when I see blood draws with angles like that and such... I get angry! lol.

Honistly, it doesn't hurt. I had a blood test to see if I had latent tb and to make it worse I had a trainee nurse :|. BUT it didn't hurt at all

I got a blood test yesterday and fainted. D: it was awful. Before the blood test I wasn't allowed to eat anything before bed and I didn't sleep that night. So at 9:00am when they took the test I totally lost all sight and couldn't hear a thing and eventually just collapsed. all blood tests I've ever had were fine and I'm not scared of needles, it's just I had really low glucose levels and I was stressed from lack of sleep. At least the nurse gave me like 5 lollipops. XD

I got my tongue pierced and the my lip pierced twice.

And after that, I was so disturbed. I couldn't STAND needles.

But i got pregnant and had to have a million blood tests.

And videoing that one helped me get over my fear of needles :p.
