Domingo spesso abbassava le sue arie e il pubblico applaudiva....

Per me Tibbett e un fenomeno,perché?

Tutta la sua vita ha cantato come baritono drammatico e con la sua voce enorme oggigiorno poteva cantare tranquillo come un basso,perché aveva una voce più scura di tutti bassi che cantano nel 21 secolo.

@bodiloto Il suo commento non fa una piega...sono daccordissimo...tuttavia Tibbett è un baritono e vesti la giubba non è nelle sue corde, anche se canta meglio di molti tenori, per il mio modo di vedere abbassare l'aria è un segno di insicurezza per un tenore, per un baritono sono gigionate evitabili...Magnifico Tibbett, come baritono...saluti

I am a Tibbett lover--one of the voices of the century, imho, and while this is an interesting curiousity piece, I suspect it did not occasion many suicides among tenors of the day:)
