She pretended to be Francesca, Gregory's victim, leading to Gregory unmasking himself in front of her (=admitting his murder); I know that he held her hostage then, but eventually, Gregory had to run, with Cole after him->the fight on the pier.

"Hostage"=he caught Annie in front of Cole, pointing a gun on her.
one scene that was action packed (and probably great for the actors to film)

Their conflicts with Gregory were one of my favorite story arcs on Sunset!
