Detriot, Mi is a slum state to live, and also Ohio don't go near these two state oh and Ct is a beatiful state though expensive...but great place to live...I regret moving out to Ct to this shit hole Ohio State.
Boston is for you! all what yur saying ur a fit! Or you can go out to the boston suburbs, Charlestown, cambridge, quincy, google Boston suburbs Boston is one of leaders in transportation and all u want!
Milwaukee is a really friendly city -- less expensive than Chicago, but still near to it for long weekends. Wisconsin is a progressive state, also. Smaller and more liveable than a mega metro area, but stil large enough to have a nightlife and an ubran envoiornment. Nice change of seasons, but you have to like, or at least not hate winter.
O and by the way, right now I live in Harrisburg PA. Best city in the world, like no crime or anything. like 2 million people in it and not so sure about gays but did see a couple gay guys walkin down the street yesterday. But no big sports teams, Sry! (only a AA Baseball team)
Ok, so, I would say either Buffalo or Pittsburgh. Iv'e lived in both of them and here's a little something about both:
Pittsburgh-Large metropolitan area, best sports teams in the world!, and fairly good sized gay community (I think) It also snows alot.
Buffalo-Fairly large metropolitan area, crappy sports team, ALOT OF SNOW!!!, and also good public transportation ( not so sure about the amount of gay peoplr there thow. Anyway, Happy Home Hunting!
Yo dog u shld really move to maryland its perfect and meets all of yours standards perfectly. has ravens football team orioles stadium and caps hockey and maryland terps and is great during summer But during winter it kinda will snow a little late ehehe. should check it out seriously!!!!
I hate to sound ignorant but I am dying to know what LGBT stands for? I wish I could help you pick a city but I reside in Orlando, Florida and since you don't like heat, humidity, and traffic you would not even want to consider moving here. However, since Disney World is here we are definitely Gay Friendly! We even have Gay Days here! We also have the Orlando Magics and the Tampa Bay Rays close by! I totally love it here! I have found my paradise so I hope that you are able to find yours!
Aspen, Colorado Is Amazing :D LGBT Events All Tha Time, Festivals For Tha Arts, Everything Is A Bit More Expensive There Than It Is Here In Texas, I Live In McKinney, But You Earn More Too With Work So It Balances Out. I Went To Copper Mountain Colorado And Aspen And It Was All Great.
Go fuck yourself you're probably either 10, or 20 and a perv, why is it that you're so stuck up against gay people....God it's people like you that make me hate straight guys, atleast girls aren't prejudice against gays. Which brings me to the conclusion you're probably Shovenist.
Des Moines, Iowa is a wonderful city and with global warming gets warmer every winter. 40% humidity is considered dreadful there. I live in NYC which rarely has humidity that low. Downtown has a skywalk system which means you can go to a movie or the grocery store without stepping outside in the elements. Iowa is an educated state and now even has gay marrage. My sister lives there and I love visiting her because the people are so friendly. They have a reasonably good bus system as well.
Cold and snowing? Come here to Minnesota voted I believe 2 in cleanest state. Snows in the winter. averages 73 in the summer. The economy hasn't hit us that bad. We have sports teams Vikings- football, Timberwolves- basketball, Twins- baseball, Wild- Hockey. I'd suggest St.Paul the crime rate is much lower there than Minneapolis.
I love you forever. But nothing is keeping me here in Dallas and I have been given the opportunity to move ANYWHERE in the United States. You know I hate Dallas with a passion! Of course before I decide on the new city I will let you know and we can go to dinner and say goodbye, :D
I have gay friends in Minneapolis who loooove the place! It's progressive and gay-friendly, but very cold in the winter. I hope to visit this summer and check it out. I live in Wichita, KS, which isn't very gay-friendly and has only 600,000 in its metro area. I'm thinking about a PhD program in Madison, WI (metro - 600,000), which is a bustling college town and state capital located between two beautiful lakes. Chicago is great, too. Try researching options on the GayCities website.
Can I post a URL in the comments section? Try GayCities do t co m . It lists bars, restaurants, hotels, etc., with user reviews. Minneapolis and Chicago are listed there, but Madison hasn't been added yet. Good luck!
I've been attached to this town my entire life. The temperature here is good, winters have occasional snow and summers never get above 80. Everybody is friendly and open minded. We are also thriving in arts and music. We are also surrounded by a lake and have many nice lake side properties. Its a very active yet peaceful town. Its not extremely packed but its also not a ghost town. Its almost just right on every level. You should look it up.

Yes, I'd like to recommend Athens, Alabama. We have lots of rednecks here and we do lynch gays.
Learn how to be a real man. We don't want you anywhere except Hell. Perhaps you should think about Miami. That way you could get use to the heat before you die.
Oh yeah and we have baseball and the state has 2 football teams. :D forgot to say that earlier. It does snow every once and a while. and its clean and low on crime. good living prices. defiantly in the south.

Columbus, Ohio Man! Its not farm land like everyone thinks about Ohio. It's city enough, nice neighborhoods, gaming places movie theaters and tons of bars and restauraunts are within a miles reach! Great place to hang out with friends, and make new ones. Snows in the winter (: (snowboarding, and other activities etc.) and in the summer it stays in the perfect temperatures, 70-85, sometimes 90. But not to much higher! Hope this helps :)
wow! I just wrote you a long story thing and it didnt save!!! Well, here is a summary, cl. and cin. have sports rivalries 24-7 and bad smell in my opinion..personally i like columbus, better living. Not as much traffic in the suburbs, specially WEsterville, cuz it has every entertainment thing available!! If i left anything out im sorry, the first thing i wrote didnt save :/
Come to Canada!(Toronto to be specific)We're too cool 1)Cold and Snowy 2) Never get's 100 degrees. 3) Clean- yes. 4) VERY low on crime 5) Largest Gay Community in the world after San Francisco. 6) Public transportation is awesome. 7) Lots of major leagues, Blue Jays, Leafs , Argos 8) Very low cost of living. My best friend who is gay has said he's NEVER experienced ANY homophobia in Toronto. Never. That's Toronto for you. (Being Gay is so cool in Toronto that I get jealous) 9) We're CANADIAN!
Boston, MA. It sounds perfect for you! ;) It also has four great teams. I will reply to this comment with some links, but I promise you, there's plenty to do, AND we just legalized gay marriges! (I think...)
Its cold and snowy during the winter, and reaches like 80-90 degress in the summer, alot of carnivals, a nice gay community, people are nice, business's are getting better.
20 minutes away is detroit where the red wings play and the tigers and the lions.
by farmington hills is the auburn palace where the pistons play, its a good place and alot of foreclosed houses are selling for cheap, so i suggest you look into it :D

Hey Rick, I wish you could/would consider maybe moving to Canada. I live in Edmonton, Alberta & I like it. But it's missing great guys like you, if I could I'd move to somewhere in the States. Talk to you soon!
I live in ventura county, you said no on west coast.
But we do have a nice trans system. Called Vista. go here goventuraorg. and the city is very nice.. Ventura would be perfect it is the only gay friendly place in my county You have following cities to go to Oxnard, Thousand Oaks is where I am at, Simi valley.. we are counted as the last I heard 7thof the safe places.. But its not a bad spot to vacation in
Oh crap... the cost of living thing; but that's not as bad as you'd think. Well, I'm acclimated after living here for 20 years, so I don't know. But then, I came here with nothing and have lived here for a long time just fine, so I think it has to do with what's important to you. For me, I love being in the capital of the world. I love that it doesn't matter how much my rent is, I can step outside and go ANYWHERE ANYTIME and the entire world is there.
With what you have described, I suggest Minneapolis/St. Paul. From what I remember about it, gay friendly, all the snow you want and warm in the summer, they gots a football team. A lot of people are relocated their with the Witness Relocation Program. Plus the fact the hotel room decorators of your room really suck in Texas.
New Haven, CT fits all your criteria (bar the subway - but it has good bus lines). New York and Massachussetts are a short drive away which have great sports teams. UCONN has a great basketball team. Yale is pretty good too. Great shops and nightlife. An academic city (given its focus on Yale) and friendly. Very gay friendly. Very liberal.
I know u won't but DETROIT

Hey Rick, I wish you could/would consider maybe moving to Canada. I live in Edmonton, Alberta & I like it. But it's missing great guys like you, if I could I'd move to somewhere in the States. Talk to you soon!

Maybe Vancouver or Toronto. Definitely like Toronto, except no sports teams. :(

New York City. Hands Down. Settled.
Oh crap... the cost of living thing; but that's not as bad as you'd think.

New York would be awesome but dunno if I can afford it on my own, even with my new YouTube salary.

LOL Well I will let you in on a little secret. The 2 top choices I am looking at are Denver and Minneapolis. :D
