  • We enjoyed this video and could feel the ambiance in the room that only an original Chicagoan can explicitly appreciate. The dancers were throwing down and we could feel the soulful passion.

  • interesting to DJ, riddim is like slow reggae dancehall on the One Drop, but the differentiating sound is B3 organ inna Santana like tip with eventual soul chords. the singing is almost old school rock like music when they did ballads, what a trip. Chicago produce alot of nice vibes, including #44, peace, JD - Occidental - 4LIFE

  • the intro song is nice. that song must have a title StepperDJ ... tell me where i can get a nice mixtape of classic steppers music and vibes, peace, JD

  • what is the song?

not painful to watch, i enjoy it. people giggin with some class and respect, taking their time, aint no rush...

if just a few things change in the overall scene of music and life, steppers could be one of the main dances to rule the disco.

from a guys perspective, steppers music and dancing helps facilitate a natural and cool vibe with the ladies cuz it requires some basic manners and class.

  • The song is actually a mix put together by DJ Sam Chatman that night.

  • This is painful to watch.

  • Which part are you referring to?

  • Wide camera angles, scattered dancers, original & freestyle mixed together, mostly unimpressive dancing, the audio was not good enough tell if they were dancing to the music or in spite of it. I hope the explanation helps...

  • I tend to agree with you about the audio (but is was in sync), the wide angles were necessary to capture as many steppers as possible since they were scattered over a large dance floor. I have been told time and time again by Chicago steppers that they want whole body shots so this played right into their wishes. I prefer to shoot contest's with one couple dancing at a time as I have in the many steppers contest's I have shot in the past. Thank you for the clarification!
