Jesus gave the signs to watch for...to tell if someone is from him or not. He didn't even say that we would know prophets by their words always coming true. He said we will know a prophet and a teach by their fruits. Agabus got a prophecy wrong to Paul. He mixed the details when he was caught by Romans and handed to the Jews. Being wrong does not make someone false or not a believer. But they would admit it and repent. Those pointing a finger of condemnation don't understand God's heart.

@russgreen1 This is BS, russ. First, Jesus never said that you know a true prophet by their fruits. Fruit is how you know good people from bad. A true prophet can still produce bad fruit. See Paul's mention of you can prophecy, speak in tongues, and have not love.... then those who prophecied, cast out devils, and did miracles in Jesus' name and God says "I dont know you". So you can be a real and true prophet of God... and still bear bad fruit. You know a prophet by his word come to pass

On the other subject, do you know a prophet who is always accurate? I know a few with that gift and all of them have been off at one time or another, but I know they have been on in other times and used of God.

@michaelambrosia The prophetic gifting is something you grow in. Also, was Jonah a false prophet? He prophesied that Nineveh would be destroyed and it wasn't, so... what happened? They repented because of the prophesy and God stayed His hand. Didn't mean Jonah was lying.

When he didn't and entered a ship with that prophesy, he nearly got all the people destroyed right along with him. When Kim supposedly prophesied on New Orleans, he was before a Texan church. Like most of his "prophesies" of destruction, he is in a church and not before those he is supposedly bringing the prophesy against. Perhaps the church are much like those on the ship & they too needed to repent.

Did he go and prophesy in Japan to the people that died in the quake or was he in a ship(church) with another people who were about to be destroyed because he was with them in that ship? Jonah was no less a man given a word from God when he nearly died and took all those on the ship with him to their deaths. All had to repent or face destruction.

I don't know. I wish that this was true. I'm just skeptical of Kim Clement now since a lot of his prophecies during this past presidential elections were kinda wishy washy. First he prophecied that the next President would an Independent, then switched to Obama, then switched to McCain and Palin, and then after the elections said he was confused himself. So...I don't know..

Others predicted different outcomes but all I ever heard Kim say pre -election was that God had shown him who would be elected and that he had talked to that man about what he was shown. Since that time he has said that he knew Obama would be elected. He has since said this was not who he would have picked if it were up to him. He might have been joking at that part I'm not sure.

However, when he began to prophecy about the next President, he began to say some things that sounded back and forth. But then after Palin is selected by McCain, Kim says, "there will be a woman Esther..." After the elections, Kim says in a Den meeting that "he wasn't sure who it was himself". There are some others that also have me confused, so I'm just skeptical. Haven't shut the door completely, just cautious.

It is important to point out that Esther influenced the King, but was never in the position of authority. In our society, we are all 'Kings' because we vote for people to represent us in ruling. Palin has had an influence in our nation.

I just wish he'd answer my email about what does he think he meant (or God meant, if it was indeed a prophecy and not a mistalk) "they will say of the new president, What of the age? Will he die in office"...and "they will say he has hot blood..." He's never responded to my confusion. But, like I said, I'm always open to the possibility to him being real...

@michaelambrosia When a prophet speaks, you will know it's truth. Do not receive prophecy with emotion. Anyone can play your emotion and make you feel something. God doesn't always reveal good things, but all is good, and can come to good. Pray over the prophecy. Seek God's will. A prophetic word is not made to answer your questions, but to give you a goal to seek. To enlighten the path to the answer. It is God's way of pushing your direction.

Interesting, on TBN not too long ago Kin once again prophesied that God was going to fill Obama with his spirit and that it was going to take place sometime this Summer. I wonder if after Obama become "hurt" by whatever is about to happen is the thing that will humble Obama enough for the Holy Spirit to come in? I pray it's going to happen though because right now Obama is bringing down this country.
