@djarmandogomix Depends on what you want. V7 is heavier, so if you get two and a mixer then you'll have a hard time carrying them around if you do lots of mobile gigs. But if you want a lighter, more compact solution, definitely try the DDJ-s1 (or the NS6 when it's released). ProAudioStar is offering a rebate for the V7 right now, so I'm thinking about picking up some of those now :D

@BronxBoii15 V7 is not a CD player. It controls Serato ITCH software on your computer, which holds all the music files. You can use one single V7 as two decks, or two V7s for a traditional setup.

@NumarkVideo You can also use one X7 with two V7's... if i'm not mistaken, each V7 can run into two separate channels on the X7.... It appears to be a traditional setup at that point, but there are literally 4 channels filled...

what about the pitch? i seem to be the only one asking this quesiton,

say deck a is on 128 bpm and i am controlling dekc b and i move the pitch slider say all the way to the bottom to beatmatch and i switch back to deck a wont that affect the pitch of deck a just from swapping?? because i dont want to just be pressing sync all the time.??

hey sorry I guess, I should have been more specific in my question. how tight do you tighten them? my left side and right side don't feel the same. and if the sound is off and i spin them with my hand they almost make a different sound if that makes sense. ( I have the NS7 btw) thankssss

They are adjustable, so you can tighten them as much or as little as suits your style of mixing. Best thing to do if they feel different, is take them both off and place them back on so they can just slide over the spindle with the screw just touching the side. Once they are both on and both at the same distance , simply count the turns of the allen key and if you turn the left one 5 times, then do the same to the right and they should be setup to the same tightness :)

Hey DRFT3Rmix, The NS7 and V7 were not made to be placed in the same console. If you want an all in 1 console, buy an NS7, or if you want a modular system, where you can choose your own mixer, go with a single or 2 V7s. There is no way to connect the NS7 to another like you can with the networking Cat5 lead on the V7s.

I am glad to see this stand alone unit. I had the opportunity to get my hands on it at a local Guitar Center. It was very easy to use and felt solid. I had wanted to do a video review on it, but unfortunately Guitar Center didn't want me shooting video to put on youtube. I need to figure out a different way to create a review on this product. Hey I have an NS7 and I do not think My vinyl plate is tightened downed correctly...will you please explain the proper way to tighten it down and how tight to tighten it??

@nbdrummer331 Hey mate, when you put the record on the platter/slipmat, take the allen key included in the packaging, and tighten the screw which is located in the side of the spindle. Cheers, Andre Cato
