@Tc40Gaming your going to need something like the Burton Custom Smalls Flying V Wide 145 or the Salomon Mini Drift Rocker Wide 146, as for binding Check out the Burton Mission or the Ride Ex.
Hey, I mean I've got a shit board and that's putting it nicely but for the time being it's all i've got. I need some bindings. I'm a chick, I haven't really boarded that much (1-2 years on and off) and I mean I don't really know kinda where I wanna go with it, I'm a bit more into the carving but then I do like trolling over bumps in the park. Could you recommend some bindings?
im going snowboarding soon and i wanna do some freestyle, i got a board for christmas and i need to know whats a good position for freestyle, im set up my board for 15 - 15 is that a good stance for freestyle? one thing idk is how far apart should my feet be, i set them up in the middle holes but im not sure, please help.
@loginstrength 15 /15 is a good starting point, as for the width start off about shoulder width apart. You will find out what works best for you just, take your time, tweak you stance if needed and have fun.
if i am in the park love jibs and big jumps a wide stance about one hole slide down from the refrence is that good for the park? or is it bad for spinning?
Hey Board HOuse Im buying Equipment for this season And i need to know I bought a 164W K2 Raygun, Flow the Five Large Bindings and 32 Thirty Two Prion Boots size 11.5 is that a good setup? do the boots fit the bindings? PLease i ordered it already and i need some closure if you know what i mean haha
@eleszar1 Thanks for the video, and thanks to all the comments. Makes being a rookies.... tolerable. Any suggestions here; I've always skateboarded and just got my first board, a 163 twin tip. I am having more fun on quarter pipes than downhill.... do I have the right board? Any suggestions on setup?? Thanks guys
@thehouseboardshop I'm 215 lbs, 6'4" and wear a size 14 Airwalk boot, the board is a 5150 'Pacer'... it's an older board... also, any suggestions on edges and waxing? Should I be waxing every ride? And I heard sharp edges aren't so good for rails and slides... thanks for the fast reply!
If i do both freestyle and free riding whats a good angle for my back foot? I will be going 15 in the front but don't know what to have it in the back.
@SavardRn Persnolly i ride 19 in the front and 15 deg in back, Because thatch what feels good to me. so if i was you i would probably put you back foot at 12 deg.
Try jumping as high as you can and land solid on both feet check what angles you feet are at and try to match that on you snowboard.... good luck
hi, ive got a 155 burton clash with burton freestyle bindings. this is my first board and im a little confused on the angles. should i have it ducked out? or should it be more angle on the front and less on the back?
@johnnypotsmoker222 I have friends who rides ducked with more 15 deg in front and 17 deg in back, he says it releases the pressure he feels on his knee. Personally I ride ducked out, about 20 deg in front and 16 degrees in back. Just like Dave said, it more or less personal preference. Just try some stance options and you will find the one that works best for you.
Is it simple to adjust the bindings myself? I have the Channel system but I've never adjusted bindings before. I am nervous that I won't attach it properly and something will come loose when I snowboard tomorrow. Please let me know! : )
@RobdaSkate Tough one to explain here but we'll try. I believe the Revolver is a twin shape so it should be pretty easy, but just in case I'm wrong we'll add a step. Measure and mark the center of your board. Then measure 11 and 3/4 in. from the center and mark that. Place your bindings so that the center will be at the mark. If the board is a twin shape the screws should be in the same inserts on either side. If it's directional it will be different but your stance will be centered.
So youre saying its easier to learn how to turn on a reverse camber board? Ive seen that some of the cheaper newbie boards have low or no camber. But its easier with reverse? Only thing is that the rocker boards are much more expensive. But yeah if I will have someone to ride with it might be worth it.
Reverse camber typically makes the board more versatile and forgiving. I like the V-rocker from Burton or the BTX technology for Lib Tech or Gnu as they both incorporate extra edge hold technology.
Quick question. Im trying to teach my girlfriend to ride. The board she uses is a directional twin( i think atleast, the nose is abit wider). Is it easier as a newbie to learn how to turn with setback?
k dave i need your help. ok so i put my bindings all the way out for freestyle a long time ago before watching this video. and even though they are all the way out my nose is longer than my tail. its such a piss off and i don't know why. my board is K2 illusion if your wondering.
Best stance info on YouTube thanks

Nope. You have to measure from the center of one insert set to the other.

Reverse camber boards are easier to learn on. I consider them "cheating".

We're from Sweden. She tried my friends skate banana and reversed camber seems to be the
choice. Or would you say flat/low camber (like nitro lectra)? Reversed cambered boards get to expensive I think.
