  • I just wanted to comment on this to say how terrible of a job I did making this. Thanks for still watching it and liking it though!

  • Best song by circa survive

  • Listen to this at 1.5x speed. Do it.

  • Epic

  • The moment when your asleep but still conscious to the world, and this is the thing you hear. This moment is so incredible, I just cant even explain it...

  • I remember when all my friends freaked out because Paramore wrote a song for those godaweful Twilight book. Wellllll, suck it cuz there are three songs writen for House of Leaves, plus the book was writen for intellectuals and people who really enjoy to read and not old cat women with no lives or preteen girls who think their so badass now because they think their reading a porno because Edward and Bella have sex one time in the book.

    ...

    Just saying...

  • I remember falling asleep while listening to Juturna and waking up during the middle of this song... it was like discovering a hidden treasure lol. Such a great song.

  • @BurningRaptureBass Me too!

  • I like blue sky noise more than olg and juturna but I heard on letting go first.

  • (To a rly old comment) I read the glorious nosebleed it has nothing to do with the song its an "mature" alphabet book but it is AMAZING!

  • Someone said that they can't top Juturna... well, considering On Letting Go is better, I'd contest that statement. Although both albums are awesome

  • Has anyone read the book House of the Leaves and can you tell me what the fuck its about?

  • @random69name69 It's not possible. You have to read it to understand it. Even reading the sparknotes can't explain correctly what it was actually about. It will mindfuck you harder than finding out your mom is a male.

  • @random69name69 Read it. Love it. Fuck it. Be confused.

  • Wish I could see them in concert:/

  • If i had one wish, I would go back in time to the first time I listened to this album to relive the experience. I honestly don't think I will ever come across something as musically invigorating as this album was.

  • @Teskus ya think?

  • what a sexy band

  • House of Leaves was a fucking phenomenal book.

Circa Survive is a fucking phenomenal band.

Together they make a sexual explosion.

  • @TakeThatSuckaz excellent word choice =]

  • I highly doubt Circa is ever gonna be able to top anything like Juturna. The problem is in part how much fans have elevated Anthony Green's egohaving to do with his voice. The different shades of emotionsin vocals are gone, the sense of tragedy and conflict, the voices and sense of drifting in the guitars, the penetrating drums .. Now they sound like something for littlemodern kids to listen to.

  • @Illuser i disagree, on letting go was incredible, and then blue sky noise is a legit album with deep emotional songs , those two albums top juturna to me

  • when he says muffle at 4:44 i want to cry its so beautiful. so much effort

  • this song means so much to me i cant even put into words the true beauty of this song... if it wasnt for circa i wouldve gone totally insane,,, ANTHONY GREEN IS MY LIFE!!! <3

  • The lyrics in this song really seem to have some importance in the actual book, House of Leaves. I am really glad I found this

  • Wonder if he drew inspiration from the book...

  • Lets be honest. Who wouldnt want to kiss to this song? XD

  • @manbeaver508 search the philidelphia project. its time travel.

  • @DylanofMD yes-3

  • This is beautiful, it makes me feel like i'm in a country land of green with hills, in the fall close to to sun down while the leaves are orange and yellow and falling with the wind while im laying down, alone, listening to this, lasting forever.-3

  • The last minute and a half is so awesome.

  • I always think to myself, that if I could only listen to one song for the rest of my life, and that song only, what would it be? I think I have finally come to the conclusion that this song is perfect

  • I always wondered why Meet Me in Montauk was so long.....now i know xD

  • Ive been lying wide awake paralyzed by the buzzing ..... :)

  • Would be crazy if in the book circa survive was the band johnny truant met at the bar. It was probably Poe tho bc her songs match her brothers book.

  • This song is the reason I'm still dating such a wonderful girl right now, thanks Circa!

  • meet me in montauk, epic if anybody knows about the montauk chair and the possibilities of this universe

  • i can match him flaulessly for this song. makes girls wet lol

  • One of the most thoughtful awe-inspiring songs. It questions reality and social interaction with such thought its unreal. Johnny Truant would have been proud yo

  • I read "House of Leaves" back in October, and the song "Spirit of the Stairwell reminded me of that book. This was before I even knew THIS song existed, which I just discovered today. You can imagine my surprise..

  • The best Circa song, ever. I don't get any feeling as amazing as the one I derive from this song, from any other song they've ever done. It's perfect.

  • First Circa song I ever heard <3

  • We're All Theives, in a sort of Fear And Faith, Living Together in a House Of Leaves. Maybe we should just focus On Letting Go.

  • @TahTaniel Yeah this is strange terrain for us so stop the fucking car so we can get out.

  • @TahTaniel i would but JUTURNA is SUSPENDING DISBELIEF.....is there any way you could MEET ME IN MONTAUK?how do you GET OUT of here??

  • The Glorious Nosebleed is a book too.

  • anybody else read the book?

  • @Kevin4779 yea i stole it from the school libary in 2007

  • @Kevin4779 I started reading it with my girlfriend last summer. then she left me and kept the book. lol. I so want to finish it though.

  • Regardless of how many times I hear this song, I'm still in awe each time.

  • I don't think snyone ever wonders what a song means anymore or what it toke to write every word -.-

  • Why would anybody want to dislike this!?

  • Two people poisoned anthony's food and got caught. D:

  • @dainykins feel the same way

  • these emotions make me feel like when all your memories are coming back to you like you forgotten them and didn't want remember something, you couldn't say...

  • this song gives me such a weird feeling but its fucking amzzzzing!!

  • the 2 people who disliked this have absolutely no taste in music

  • damn i never get high nemore..i try but i can never get high nemore

  • The song "Meet me in Montauk" Is based off "Eternal Sunshine Of the Spotless Mind" This song "House Of Leaves" Is based off the Book "House Of Leaves" By Mark Z. Danielewski. Read it, it will make sense of the song.

  • It is about the book, dummies. It's a song written from the perspective of Johnny Truant.

  • fuggin best song everr....

  • @jadealane0223: the book has absolutely nothing to do with Anthony, it's a mind fuck book. Definitely a good read.

@TheCritRocket: herpa derpa. No one said it was :) keep trying to be witty via youtube commenting.

  • methhhh

  • You guys. This is off the movie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The line, "Meet me in Montauk" was actually in the movie. Watch it for proof.

  • @mattlovespeanuts

    wish resign also

  • @mattlovespeanuts herp derp this whole album was based off of Eternal Sunshine, and House of Leaves

  • ...what book? if it has ANYTHING to do with Anthony Green and/or Circa i want it..

  • this song gives me the chills, but not as much as the book did... holy shit.

  • Most creative band ever.... period.

  • Driving down the highway at four in the morning, "You'd mean so much more to me... if I remembered." Every ray of hope extinguished into anxious settling until the tide works it's rhythmic pattern over you, sweeping away the old. "Hey now, overcome... your concern about the weather and whether or not I'm still alive check the vital signs... " The most intense hidden track ever, all things considered.

  • @POEEPOPE da fuq you on nigga?

  • @brookieisemo At the time? No sleep, some chick, lots of caffeine, nicotine, some green, and though I wasn't "on" it at the time, I was highly influenced by a salvia experience I had not long before the post mentioned. some 60X.

  • i listen to this song every morning!

  • so who has actually read this book?

  • i have. it's not as much a horror book as it is a love story, really.

  • @eyedrops4cyclops This isn't about the book? Fuck.

  • dude love this f****n song its da best

  • you guys some of you have no idea what this song can do to a person's emotions,....amazing...

  • the 2 people who don't like this, accidentally pressed dislike instead of like

  • THE best book I've ever read. However, another MZD book, Only Revolutions, I'm not so sure about. I'll have to come back to that one later.

  • @RockingTheFro oh my god, i completely agree. i loved house of leaves, seriously my favorite book ever. but only revolutions, it was.... i don't know.... different? interesting. but the big difference, i could put it down the first time i read it and haven't reread it like 10+ times. plus i'm glad that i'm not the only one who knew what this song was and what it was about. though i had just thought it coincidence (seriously there seemed to be about 10,000 coincidences related to it)

  • One of the best parts of this song is......We're fighting sleep

  • yea. its really good. its probably the scariest book i've ever read. definately read it

  • @kukuluku1

The book is great. But be forewarned, it is not an undertaking to be taken lightly. It becomes the most disorienting thing ever written about 200 pages in and then just gets more and more confusing from their.

  • this song is pretty much about the book House of Leaves, which is the creepiest love story i have ever read, but God, iz it beautiful LOL

  • I would listen to the song by Circa called "The Great Golden Baby" and try to relate it to a struggle Anthony had with being torn between two good bands but disagreeing with what Saosin was doing. IMO.

  • yes! i love this song
