  • I got my E5200 to 3.9GHz. Windows 7 rates it at 6.9, the highest score I got on my system as of now.

  • @CivoITALIAN wtf i got 5.9 windows 7 64bit here homie and its lower then that LOL

  • Was the E2160 -> E5200 worth it?

  • @TheName141 Sorry for the really late reply, but going from a cheepo to a cheepo, yes :P More L2 cache as well as higher bus speed and way more overclocking potential.

  • @overclockerfx I just bought a Athlon II X4 640 and went "AMD". Although Intel is the way to buy right now if you have the extra money.

  • does it comes with thermal paste on it?

  • @marrius1993 the fansink does come with some, yes well the silver thing looked like it lol so i figure it did its running so far so good for like 2 months

  • does it come with thermal paste on it?

  • Man the Music isn't from metalica, is All Over Me from Drowning Pool ^_^ Nice processor i wanna get one =D

  • you've got the same speakers as me :D

  • Can it play 1080p .mkv files smoothly ?

  • who cares that this is pentium? the E5200 is a badass chip! it performs identicle the core 2 duo.

  • Thanks overclockerfx, I ordered the e5200 and installed it but when I turned on my PC I had no picture on my monitor but everything internally sounded like it was working (fan, hard drive, ect...). I reset the CMOS and unplugged all devices from the motherboard and plugged them back in but still no video. Haven't messed with the Bios yet as I am a novice PC geek. Put the old CPU back in and everything works fine, so I know my motherboard is ok.

  • same here, i just installed it on mines, then i turn on my computer, there were no picture on the monitor.

  • does anyone know if the E5200 will work with a windows vista 32bit OS?

  • Yes it will work with any 64-bit or 32-bit x86 based operating system. Though your unlikely to get it running with something older then Windows 2000 since dual-core support is non-existent. Anyways it will work with anything newer than Windows 2000.

  • @overclockerfx i ran it on windows 2000 had to hack window and do all sorts of programs i was bored. but anyways dont try it, itss stupid just get windows 7 fuck rest. i ran xp and it runs not so good on xp idk why but runs more smooth on 7

  • i have an E5200 just like u and i also have a great gaming case (Raidmax) with a gigantic cooler ventilator and i overclocked my processor at 3.3 GHZ and it works just fine but maybe i will upgrade it to intel core 2 quad in the summer

  • i overlooked my E6300.

great CPU´s the pentium Dual cores !!!

Gta 4 on high is no problem for him

  • Can i overclock it to 3.7ghz with the stock cooler?

  • no, you will need a slightly bigger one. i have heard 3.2ghz on the stock cooler but try keep the temps under 70c

  • im on 3.7GHz with stock cooler 60C full load and around 40 idle

  • but is it stable, what are your voltages?

  • of course its stable voltage is 1.248

  • well the only way to tell is to run intel burn test but 1.25 volts sounds about right... I was thinking a bit under 1.3v around 1.28v or so. but I am no expert on 5200's, I was just thinking of getting one for my server to replace me e1200.

  • with better cooling i could probably get to 4ghz but when i go past 3.75 it becomes unstable :(

  • guys when u overclock the cpu it will have less life time? how it works?

  • Only if you increase the Core voltage be sure to get a good fan, depends on your processor manufacture

  • ok mate look, i had to buy the E1500 dual core 2.2Ghz it sucks i know but my motherboard wasen't new, its a 945GC and well i buy the processor and now the board dont support it, so now i order by newegg the G31PR let see how it work and and how to overclock it idk how

  • yes it will have a lower life span but not so noticeable unless you really push the cpu to the max! I have an e1200 at 3ghz and 1.4v and it has been in there for a year without problems.

  • will pair up good with a Asus P5Q Pro Motherboard ?

  • what this song? Nice Vid!!!!!!!

  • I just got E5200 a few days ago to replace my Celeron D 356. I checked CPU-Z and my E5200 was only running at 1.19GHz because my mobo sucks balls. But games run just so much better than my Celeron though, I gonna get a new board sometime soon... and get the full experience of this processor WEEE!!

  • Just bought this processor and can't wait for it to arrive!! Very exited!! Gotta get myself out of the Celeron D generation haha xD

  • It comes with a cooler? Oh I didn't know.. :D

    I'm going to buy this

  • the videos been sped u retards....

  • Seriously, chill out when you open stuff! It's like you're 5 and it's your birthday. The camera isn't gonna break if you take your time...

And FYI, your camera can't auto focus so I don't know why you're shoving all this stuff up next to the lens. It's just a blurry mess.

Good cheap CPU though, my mate is getting one (I'm getting a i7 920).

  • Great cpu for this price!

  • tyvm you know what the original song got banned... had to use audio swap

  • LOL this video is sucks...installation???

  • This is going to replace my pentium 4 3.6 ghz

  • CAN U CALM DOWN WHEN UNBOXING FAROUT

  • im gonna get one of these it would be a good replacement instead of my e1200 lol

  • im buying this in 2 weeks. Better than my Pentium IV, 2.4 Ghz lol

  • LULZ

  • music is drowning pool-all over me from the album sinner

  • i have a this processor..is beautiful!

  • hey i wanna know what will happen if i overclock the cpu... i heard dat it not good to overclock the cpu ...will it effect my mobo or somthin else..sorry for the nub question and im still newb to this stuff

  • well it could shorten its life but not by much. I have mine overclocked to 3.1 and so far its been like this for like 5 months. My friend blew his motherboard because he overcflocked 3 cpus and one really good one . The e8400 . So I would its fun. Sorry for the mistakes I ammtyping on my pc that is doing a stress test

  • this is made in usa, costa rica or malaysia?????

  • costa rica

  • o.......thanks!

  • :-)

  • why is it. I mean whats that big plant in California for then

  • i have dual core from costa rica..so please don't talk me

  • so do I. but what I dont understand is what goes on in the california plant

  • LOOOL I have this processor from Costa Rica and what you have to shit me to no longer care

  • okay fuck you...you must be some shit faced dick that must have been treated like shit

  • Close murder loser ... you have a problem it does not speak

  • i asked a freaking question and you turned it into this.

  • whoa! you have a steady 2500 MHz!

  • great... lol, Have you watched my OC vids I have a vid of it at 4Ghz. Though I have got it to 4.2Ghz. If you want I can prove. Run it 24/7 at 3.611Ghz with 1.36V.

  • Yup. I saw it, but I need to replace my 400 Watt atx with 500 Watt because my GIGABYTE ATi HD 3870 is eating lots of power.

  • that isnt an installation

  • Chip, BIG WHOOP

  • lol.... I got this chip for overclocking.... jeez, I didnt intend to get top of the line

  • I just bought this card, I hope its good. To bad it didn't come with the Therma gell stuff

  • thats not a card.....

  • Lol your hands are flying around that box like a hamster on crack!

But i plan on getting this CPU soon.

  • It's fast forwarded -_- You're smart.

  • I am very aware of that...

  • I got 50> Degrees on my quad core

q9400.How to make it cooler?Im using the crappy intel stock fan.

  • i had the same this week for the price works like a jet

  • This CPU is a beast for $70

  • here in argentina 89 u$s

  • hey nice vid!!! i was thinkin bout gettin the e5200 and i also have a 650i motherboard!!! 2qs... 1. how does the cpu work on the 650i??? 2. wats ur graphics card and wats ur score and 3dmark if u do benchmark???

  • I will be getting this.Core 2 Duo isn't neccessary for me.This is just sufficient for my daily usage.Thanks.I like unboxing.

  • This is essentially a Core2Duo anyway, just with a lighter cache.

  • Yeah the E5200 is basically a C2D but just 1MB less cache but who cares? =D

Rates 5.3 in the Windows Experience Index of Windows Vista.

  • 5.9 on windows 7 rating,

  • oh shit didn't see that coming lol.

  • so does my e2140 but its overclocked at 2.6ghz

  • mines at stock tho

  • its at 6.5 when overclocked to 3.1

  • me 6.8 when overclocked to 3.56Ghz Stable 24/7

  • I also got a 6.8 with 3.7ghz lol...

  • This was just unboxing. Pretty stupid and pointless video.

Congratulations, you know how to open a box.

  • C'mon... This was made so that somone who might be interested in buying one of these see's what they get.... lol not to show people how to open a damn box... lol

  • lolz...

  • Sry i was mad, nice vid but whats the maximum reach for overclock?

  • On Air: 2.5 - 4.2 Ghz

On Water cooling: Dont know yet :P

  • why are you showing me the box at 0:40,i will buy a E5200 is 90th place on high Cpu benchmarks

  • hmmmm... why would that be this is unboxing and installation i.e. I am showing you what is inside the box

  • What cooler you got, and whats Idle temps?

I'm running this on stock voltage at 3.0ghz at 20oc idle on my akasa 965.

  • On my E5200 the idle:

    Room temp (CELCIUS): 20

    CPU: 21

    Full Load: 27

  • what were your temps were they on air colling

  • what mobo would be best to pair up with this for overclocking?

  • Mines at 3.4ghz on stock cooling. Averaging 35C degrees.

I want to get it to 4.0ghz but I need better cooling

  • How much GHz can this proc go without having to change the vcore?

  • mine can do 3.2-3.3Ghz stable on stock vcore

  • i hit 4.2 with stock cooler only...on 24/7 and stable...

  • Sure... sure you did... I mean it's possible and all, but rather unheard of so do you have a cpu-z validation or it didn't happen...

  • This E5200 is very good value. I OC'ed mine to 3.2 GHz using the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 (22°C Idle and 33°C Under 100% load). I would go higher but then my RAM will meltdown. My RAM is only 800 MHz and Right now it's overclocked to 853 MHz. DAMN LOCKED MULTIPLIERS!

  • lower ur fsb ratio and you can get it much more higher

    800mhz ram is good, i have my e5200 @ 3.55ghz stable

  • I got 3.69Ghz stable

  • le mec tellement excité d'avoir acheté un proco qu'il nous montre l'emballage pendant 5 minutes... super

  • Of course im excited to have a new processor that i can overclock and you'll notice the video only lasts for 2:47 :D

  • Do you know how much could i overclock the e5200 on stock cooling? And also if you know any cheap and efficient coolers, could you please let me know ? Thanks :D

  • LOL opening the box with saftey scissors? anyways, i am getting this for my next build, are you thinking of getting a AfterMarket CPU Cooler? i am going for the Acrtic Freezer Pro 7 :D best of luck with overlcock's most of my forums get to 3.78 for 24/7 and one guy made 4.27 for a suicide run

  • Yyea i have hit 4.0 on a suicide on 1.465V, but im sure i can manage it on lower volts once i get a new mobo since the p5n-e sli has several fsb holes... And no they are not safety scissors :P

  • This is a nice CPU! It's almoust as good as a Core 2 Duo

  • well lets just say that it is a Core 2 Duo just with a lower fsb...

  • You can always overclock the fsb! ;)

  • hehe im getting one on the 11 next month :)

  • cool i get mine next week :D

  • Do you overclock it with stock cooling?

  • NO i overclock with an OCZ Vendetta. Ill probably be getting a Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme soon.

  • @ 3.6 GHZ there is any difference from a E8400 in the same clock?

  • Yes the E8400 will be faster since it has a bigger cache. But it is minor.

  • I got it!!!

But It's not a big difference, maybe 5~10 in some games.

  • i have the same Motherboard (P5N-E SLI) without bios upgrade. If i buy a E5200 and put it in cand I then upgrade the bios ? or i must buy first a compatibile processor, upgrade bios and then buy the E5200!! ? pls help

  • Im not sure, but i would imagine you can not flash your bios without a processor and the E5200 is not supported without a bios flash. But chances are if you put it in you'll be able to flash the bios even though its not supported i.e. it might work but it will not be recognized. I dont know cuz ive never tried since i flashed mine with my E2160 inside... so you might have to do it with another processor...

  • ok thx

  • aa and ... most of all i was asking because i am having a new pc in november and ... i wanted to know if i could play FAR CRY 2, with a e5200 processor, 2GB RAM BUS 800 and a 8600GT geforce. please tell me, i just want to play it considerably well, not in high all :P, tell me please :D (GREAT SONG MAN)

  • I dont know about far cry 2 i dont have it but i have 8600 GTS (overclocked) that runs Call of Duty 4 at about average 75-80fps with detail on high and 2XAF 1440x900. It could easily do 1680x1050, but i perfer the higher fps...

  • sorry 4 the ignorance .. but wat exactly is GPU? i thought i only had to take care of PROCESSOR HZ, RAM and graphics XD

  • GPU is your graphic processing unit i.e. your graphics card...

  • one question ... could you play crysis well with this processor?

  • YES you can play crysis with this but the performance mainly depends on your GPU this processor will definetly not be a bottleneck especially if it is overclocked, but notice that a quad-core will be better optimized for crysis...

  • great video

  • Great video

Nice chip you got good deal overclocking is great on 45nm. Just keep vcore below 1.3675v 24/7 and benchmarking maybe 1.40-1.45v max.

I have ram my E8400 up to 1.420v for 2 hours or so. Temps really are not a problem with these dual core 45nm chips.

Nice score on super pi 5/5

    Rick Arter

  • Yea i got mine up to 3.7Ghz now with the VCore at approx 1.36V. I think im gonna use this as 24/7 for now... I only scored 15.5s on Super Pi 1M, but thats due to the low fsb, 2mb cache and my memory is clocked at stock... I might fiddle with the multiplier in an attempt to get a higher fsb for the same clock speed.

  • this baby goes to 4.0ghz.

I am doing the same thing for my e2160.. ;)

  • yea im sure it will but it will take a lot more juice than the 8400 needs since i need about 1.3675V for 3.7ghz to get it somewhat orthos stable...

  • Wow, this baby goes to 3.7? Got a link? :)

  • yea i posted a link in the description
