  • I had the same experience as Mike--I saw it listed as 1966. The station is 1960's Jangle Radio on radio365. It also has a presence on YT, and I am a subscriber. I don't know which is right or wrong. I thought Gary Usher was working on other things by 1969, and the Hondells were finished, so 1966 seems more likely. On the other hand, it may have been done in 1966 and released on an album in 1969! By the way, garageband66, I really like what you have done here on YT. I will subscribe!

  • @MultiStats Yeah, those years released are hard to figure. The 45 said 1969 but it was a reverse import from Japan so it may have originally been 66.

  • You can get the audio-mp3 of this track at fromvideotomp3 doht cohm.

  • fook off the rockers!! Outer Limits for life

  • I have this by the 'Outer Limits' on deram 1967.Mine is probably the British cover version so 1966 release looks more likely.

  • @gasworks456

    make that 1967

  • Are you sure this was 1969?

I heard this on an internet station and they claim 1966.

  • It came from a UK compilation of "forgotten" hits that had a release date of 69 on an album that has since bit the dust so to speak, probably not extremely reliable. Where's your source? I have seen others that copy it as 67 here in the states.

  • Please re-read my post.

  • I did. Which Internet station?

  • Written by Jeff Christie, who also wrote and sang the million-selling Yellow River.

  • True, true! You know your stuff.
