Sorry if I seem a bit lost, but I just want to clarify, You have no muffler (or silencer, I'm american and I don't know what its called in english for sure) and so its just a straight pipe to the back?

Nice exhaust and mini! i have a 1977 mini 1000cc and has a DTM exhaust with one other silencer in the whole exhaust as well as the back box. Is your exhaust just a pipe with no other silencers apart from the back box, and would it pass an MOT as i want to install a straight through exhaust.

Your Mini is 1977 and WAY before Cat's were a legal requirement so yes, you can go straight through...at least in the UK.

Cheers buddie! yea it does sound very nice =D Sounds even better in rl, I couldnt tell you tbh, it was on the mini when I bough it, its not a stainless steel pipe though, its a 2n a half inch straight though on a 1275 engine & hiff44 carb :] get one!!
