Well, you see. SSBB is a game for not just experienced players. If you are just starting out, you shouldn't be forced to air dodge to avoid a spamming attack. Sheik did a pretty good job trying to get back on the ledge when Pikachu spammed the lightning move but if a person just started playing the game, there's no way they can dodge it without taking some damage. I think that itself is at least a little bit cheap.
pikachu is quite good if u dont over do the thunder and know how to use the character (in my opinion im good with pikachu and i dont do that move constantly)....people who do that move over and over completely fail and shouldnt even think of using pikachu...they are making pikachu seem like a cheap character when pikachu really isnt.

As a Pikachu main, I can tell you it's easy to avoid the down + b attack by not being above your opponent for too long and to try to stay out of the air as much as possible.
Ranged attacks are definitely what you'd have to work with when facing Pikachu... unless you're playing someone who sucks with him.

Sonic isn't cheap buddy. His attacks do little damage and don't provide any considerable knockback until his opponent(s) is/are sitting on 80-100% damage. If anything, Super Sonic only makes up for Sonic's lack of kill moves. Besides, if anyone was killed by Super Sonic in a match, they'd know to stay on the spawning platform for as long as they could (even CPUs do that).
WTF! You obviously need some more practice with Sonic then because you can KO alot of people without the need for super sonic. Also even if you do stay on the spawning platform, once it runs out there still is enough time to KO more brawlers.

Landmasters are cheap because of their immense size and 4 ways to kill.
Volt Tackle doesn't have to physically connect, as you can discharge the electricity for damage, and it goes through terrain unlike Super Sonic.
Snake's Grenade Launcher can be shot anywhere, and like Volt Tackle, doesn't have to connect; and they're all timed FS's that last as long as Super Sonic
For the record, I'm not a diehard Sonic fan. I'm just defending the characters I like, as you did with Ike. That aside, great arguing with ya. We should do this again sometime.

Pikachu is not cheap, the only reason people think that is because nearly ALL of its moves can win a fight alone (easily spammable). Thats why Pikachu is my main ^_^

It's easy to avoid that attack actually. Just use your side-step dodge in the air. The attack is not cheap.
