Thinking about a career in the armed forces, I like the outdoors, I'm athletic and can work as part of a team, part of the army cadet force etc. But I'm not always that confident and I can be quite shy at times, is this a good career for me? shall be thankfull if anyone with experience replies

I may not agree with war but I can appreciate the risk these brave men and woman take. As a daughter of a veteran soldier who to this day suffers from PTSD (Combat Stress), they risk more than bodily harm and death. As long as our troops are fighting I will support them despite my own personal views. I have spent volunteer time at a Nursing Home for veterans and they all have stories to tell. Although he is now deceased I met one of the men who witnessed the real 'great escape'.

I may not agree with war but I can appreciate the risk these brave men and woman take. As a daughter of a veteran soldier who to this day suffers from PTSD (Combat Stress), they risk more than bodily harm and death. As long as our troops are fighting I will support them despite my own personal views. I have spent volunteer time at a Nursing Home for veterans and they all have stories to tell. Although he is now deceased I met one of the men who witnessed the real 'great escape'.
