I hate it when people called it "the elephant man" syndrome too. 1) it is an offesive term to anyone who has got this genetic condition, which me ma had & me brother has NF type 1 & 2) even though it is fairly common not many people know about it. It skipped me & my sister but not my brother though. He had to have a neurofibroma from his arm cos the NF lump was causing him pain & was the size of a potato. And has got 2 small NF lumps growing near his eyes as well. That lady looks pretty to me.

Yeah she may not be attractive on the outside, but thats not her fault. It's whats on the inside that matters, and through all the bumps i can truly see the real her. Yes i feel bad for her that she has to look like this but she accepts it. She's just a normal person like you and i, just with different features. :)
