You should be looking a the greek not the latin. The greek word for "caught up" is "to meet" in a friendly manner but in the context is to forcefully meet. Also the rapture makes no sense in in respect to that verse. People will physically see God in the air. We may be taken up into heaven for a brief period of time at the Second coming when God judges the people or something, but the idea that god will come and bee seen and then for the world to continue like nothing happened is weird.

There is nothing complicated about the "RAPTURE". The Alien abduction story is true. They have always been in near earth orbit ever since the "GODS" left. I am curious to know why some in the body of Christ feel they are going to go through the tribulation that is spoken of in the book of Daniel and the book of Revelation. Well, God forbid. I was with you until you started saying that Christ would reign on this Earth. If you are for what the Bible truly teaches then I recommend to read Hebrews 9:27 Daniel 2:44 (in regards that Christ's kingdom has already been established!) 2 Peter 3:10 clearly shows us that all of this will be burned up! So how can Christ reign in Jerusalem if it will burned up? 1 Corinthians 15:24 John 5:28-29 are good verses. There is no scripture that states He will set foot on this earth again.

Really if you look at the early christians and the apostles and examine the fact that they were all persecuted until the point of death. Jesus allows suffering to test the faith of his people a trial is a test and tribulation is trouble. The antichrist reign will be a great time of trouble but it is NOT GOD'S WRATH. Here are some other "Christian" terms never mentioned in the Bible: Christmas, Easter, Trinity, Jesus' birth date or even the exact year of his birth, confession, and many more man made terminology, conveniently added into doctrine as time went on. There's an important distinction that Pre Tribbers need to understand.
There is a HUGE difference between the Christians suffering the oppresion of the Antichrist,and going through the wrath of God.

There IS a "catching away", but it occurs at the last trumpet, which in turn is just prior to the seven vials of God's wrath falling on the earth, I Cor 15:52, Rev. 11, 15, 16. There is no "pre-trib" event that removes the saints from their witness to the world until after the 3.5 years, 42 months, or 1260 days. Many will be martyred, Rev. 20:4. These meet Christ in the air prior to the vials and return with Christ to earth after the seventh vial has fallen, Rev. 16:15, for Armageddon battle.
Because it's not the church. it's those who get saved after the rapture. once u can understand the different between the church and israel, u will see the purpose of the rapture. According to many OT prophecies there must be non-glorified individuals who live to a ripe old age and die, as well as some will rebel at the end, in order for these scriptures to be fulfilled.

If you have done your studies correctly you will find that this doctrine did not come about until Mr. Darby. The Pre-Tribulation Rapture is false, Not the Rapture itself, but that the Church will be snatched out of the coming Tribulation on the Earth. This is a western thought AND teaching. You should be looking a the greek not the latin. The greek word for "caught up" is "to meet" in a friendly manner but in the context is to forcefully meet. Also the rapture makes no sense in in respect to that verse. People will physically see God in the air. We may be taken up into heaven for a brief period of time at the Second coming when God judges the people or something, but the idea that god will come and bee seen and then for the world to continue like nothing happened is weird.

There is nothing complicated about the "RAPTURE". The Alien abduction story is true. They have always been in near earth orbit ever since the "GODS" left. The RFID chips are inserted in some of the abducted who have good genetics. The idea being to "RAPTURE" these folks either to save them from a natural calamity that is to befall the planet...or... to destroy the evil planet and bring these folks back to earth after the event. If you are for what the Bible truly teaches then I recommend to read Hebrews 9:27 Daniel 2:44 (in regards that Christ's kingdom has already been established!) 2 Peter 3:10 clearly shows us that all of this will be burned up! So how can Christ reign in Jerusalem if it will burned up? 1 Corinthians 15:24 John 5:28-29 are good verses. There is no scripture that states He will set foot on this earth again.

Really if you look at the early christians and the apostles and examine the fact that they were all persecuted until the point of death. Jesus allows suffering to test the faith of his people a trial is a test and tribulation is trouble. The antichrist reign will be a great time of trouble but it is NOT GOD'S WRATH. His bowl and trumpet judgements are his wrath. God has been testing his people since he created Adam and Eve. And I say God is not the author of confusion.

This wa spoken about as early at 300 AD, and continuously after, not the 17 th century.- but one would have to actually study to be aware, and Christ Himself said we should watch for it. Read Revelations, he said to the dead church to WAKE UP or they would not know when He would return. But the time of his return to Israel is pinpointed exactly.

The Bible never mentions a rapture. The idea was invented in the 17th century. Here are some other "Christian" terms never mentioned in the Bible: Christmas, Easter, Trinity, Jesus' birth date or even the exact year of his birth, confession, and many more man made terminology, conveniently added into doctrine as time went on. Prophecies were written after the fact, which is properly termed history. That's just for starters. Christianity (and all religion) is a total fraud.

There's an important distinction that Pre Tribbers need to understand.
There is a HUGE difference between the Christians suffering the oppresion of the Antichrist,and going through the wrath of God.
From what I can understand we Christians WILL be persecuted by the Anti Christ,as a way of testing the lukewarm Chuches loyalty to God .If there is a verse you can show to prove otherwise please provide it.
But the wrath of God will come last and the Church WILL NOT have to suffer through this.

Both of these men are lost, the doctrine of the rapture is true and biblical. This pastor does not have a correct interpretation of the scriptures used. Clearly he doesn't understand the word of God. The Rapture will happen in the near future; it's your choice to believe or not.

I guess all those men and women lived and died not knowing this all important doctrine or could it be rather the Devil made up some doctrine that the Bible does not speak of or support. There IS a "catching away", but it occurs at the last trumpet, which in turn is just prior to the seven vials of God's wrath falling on the earth, I Cor 15:52, Rev. 11, 15, 16. There is no "pre-trib" event that removes the saints from their witness to the world until after the 3.5 years, 42 months, or 1260 days. Many will be martyred, Rev. 20:4. These meet Christ in the air prior to the vials and return with Christ to earth after the seventh vial has fallen, Rev. 16:15, for Armageddon battle.

Because it's not the church. it's those who get saved after the rapture. once u can understand the different between the church and israel, u will see the purpose of the rapture. Who are chosen in the book of revelation, 144,000 of the tribe of israel, not the church. These are tribulation saints. There's no mention of the church after the 4th chapter until the 19th chapter when we'll coming back. Nothing is too hard for God. We go through man's tribulation now. The tribulation is God's wrath.

Rapture is not in the Bible but is from the greek word "Harpazo" which means "Caught Up." Caught up is in the Bible. So yes the rapture/caught up/Harpazo event is in the Bible. Anyway MrGobble. 1. We believe in the rapture not because we want to get out of tribulation suffering but because it best explains all the biblical data.
2. There is no confusion over the resurrection if you accept the Church as distinct from believing Israel who will be saved during the trib'n, to receive resurrection at Christ's 2nd coming.
3. The when & how of Christ's return is not confusing when you stop spiritualising the prophecies in Rev or Daniel.

Rev. 11:15 Again, a heavenly trumpet & angel's voice does not need to be obvious on the earth.
Rev. 1:7 Refers to Christ's 2nd Coming to earth to set up His Kingdom - of course it's obvious.
Matt. 24:30 Again, refers to his 2nd coming, not the rapture of the Church.
So - you cannot dismiss the rapture so easily!
Matt. 24:29-31 - Yes it's about his 2nd coming...so....rapture can still be true.
The word 'Trinity" is not in the bible either but the concept is - & we accept it.

The Pre-Trib Rapture is not true. If it was it would have been taught by the early church and the fact is that it wasn't taught until 1830.

2Thes 2:1 states clearly we will be gathered to Him BY the coming of our Lord.
that means, we don't just go to heaven or hell when we die...it means we will be gathered to Him when He returns...
Vs 3 states that day will not come except there be a falling away first & the man of sin must be revealed, the man of perdition.
Do we agree? the man of perdition is revealed FIRST.
So the righteous will be here on earth when Jesus returns.
The time of tribulation is after the Antichrist is revealed.

read the Bible, really well, Yes, the apostle Paul said Christians arent destined for Gods wrath (1 Thessalonians 5:9). The confusion is caused by equating the tribulation (the Antichrists wrath against Gods people) with Gods wrath against the wicked. This is a mistake that the pretribulation rapture teaching makes. Christians wont experience Gods wrath, but Scripture teaches they will have to experience the Antichrists wrath.

The pastor in this video says at 10:10 that THEE Bible was translated into the latin vulgate. What he fails to mention or maybe even understand is that it was the Alexandrian text that was translated into the latin vulgate..And he shouldnt use the the word THEE because not all bibles come from the alexandrian text.
What about the Textus Receptus that the KJV comes from?
So how come the KJV uses "caught up" as well in 1 Th 4:17???
I cannot see any fault in either translation with "caught up"!

Our ultimate hope must be in the integrity and character of Christ, not in the refinement of some doctrinal position. This gentlemen talks as if there is no valid argument for a rapture, which is quite silly. Thessalonians speaks of being "caught" up to meet the Lord in the air, so there is no question believers will be raptured. John 14 also speaks of Christ "receiving" beleivers to heaven, where He was going to leave to prepare a place for them. This guy is presenting a very one side argument.

If, as some teach, there is one general resurrection at the end of the tribulation period in which all believers are glorified and all sinners are destroyed, then what non-glorifed humans will enter Christ's kindgom on earth (1000 year reign)? According to many OT prophecies there must be non-glorified individuals who live to a ripe old age and die, as well as some will rebel at the end, in order for these scriptures to be fulfilled.
