  • Yup.. if I was Johnny Depp I'd be banging that too.

    She is super hot.

  • Yes it's fit her perfectly but who is singing this lovely country song? Wonderful video.

  • Haha! I was just watching Home Alone 3, and I heard the parrot singing this song, and I just had to find out what it was...and I got brought to this! And I love Vanessa Paradis!!

(However, I especially LOVE Johnny Depp)

But this is cool! I never knew she had green eyes...I always thought she had blue...

Hey! I have green eyes, Johnny, stare into them!!!! Hehehe...only in my dreams.

    ; )

  • Vanessa Paradis is Johnny depps wife

  • Love this song. Feels like it should be on the soundtrack to a Quintin Tarantino film. Love the vid.

  • I never liked the shortened version...sounds lobotomized. Still an amazing song.

  • nice job on the video,i like it

  • This song also brings to mind the summer of 1970 in Wildwood N.J. I was 14 at the time. A beautiful girl with jet black hair and green eyes was staring at me on the beach. I was too shy to approach her(she was a little older). But I have never forgotten her beautiful green eyes.

  • shes HOT.

  • I dont know her yet. A nice compilation. Well done.

  • This was popular in 1970, that summer I was all of 16 & met my future husband. Superb memories 'cause I felt I was a green-eyed lady! Budice53

  • AWESOME!!!!!! fantastic!! congratulations!

  • nice

  • Fantastic video. Great job!!! :)

  • Simply exquisite!

  • This has ALWAYS been my favorite jazz organ solo! LOL No kidding.

  • AWESOME!

  • what happened to her teeth. She looks like bucktooth bill

  • Vocals and instrumental are awesome. Don't make them like this anymore.

  • Her dancing goes so well with the song. They don't make bass lines sound as good as this song did!

  • song kicks ass

  • They don't make em like that anymore. I just looked it up cuz I had to hear it.

  • She has blue eyes not green

  • No, her eyes are green. You might have seen some photos where the color of her eyes have been altered by fans and others. But her eyes are green.

  • The long (6:48) version of the song and video was also posted on YouTube, but apparently the copyright Nazis took down both the video and the channel of the poster as well.

I have seen this happen quite a lot here. Usually the channel disappears with the offending video, but sometimes just the video.

  • the song and i are both back

  • Glad to hear it on both counts. Well, howdydoo :)

Let's see how long before the copyright Nazis exterminate you again.

  • Great song. The long version to me is even better. Free publicity here 30-40 years after the fact might lead some people to buy the good tunes. The censors should consider that IMHO

  • this is a song from my youth - and there is a wonderfully special green eyed lady now!! thanks!!!

  • This song is so great especially the vocal and keyboard arrangements.

    Vanessa is so gorgeous.

  • Awesome, great job. I have never heard of Vanessa either but she is tres beautiful. This song brings back great memories for me. I used to listen to this all the time when I was a kid. I have an original 45RPM sincgle of this on Liberty Records.

  • Beautiful! Always one of favorite songs with a great organ solo played against the background riff of the Munsters theme! Never heard of Vanessa Paradis, but she's beautiful too. You did a great job of putting this all together. Great ending! Vanessa should love you!

  • Never heard of her either. According to wikipedia, she's French, married to Johnny Depp.

Sugarloaf is a classic one hit wonder band - great song, but otherwise unknown.

  • Incredible Hammond work on this song. I love it. Also great syncopation.

  • The original band that did this number from the late 1960's was Sugar Loaf

  • I was about 5 feet away from Jerry Corbetta this summer as he prformed this song live with the new band (Classic Rock All Stars) Thanks for the post as I wanted to send it to a Green eyed Isreali Lady friend of mine who said she never heard it yet!

  • Oh, YEAH! 'Bout time somebody posted the Sugarloaf real deal! Thanks!

  • Huge Sugarloaf fan here, too!
