  • great story and plotline..camera work need some more potential. it need more medium shots and establishing shots. instead of close up shots all the time... and it is dark on some shots, but hey. storyline is important in my books, and good acting(actors)...i thought it was a good one. kudos!

  • Alex looks a lot like mark wahlberg hey?! Great acting! Good work.

  • Hey, good over the shoulder camera shots and good wide shots ...decent acting :)

  • poor sound and lighting, some horrible shots, some bad cuts, decent acting from few actors, overall I would said i'm disappointed. Disappointed because I expected something better from a VFS student.

  • Dude I just talked to Rebecca on facebook and she is My FAAAVE actress!

  • 1:18 - 1:33 Nice! haha

  • Gaaay!

  • the acting had no emotions to it for me..

the plot really had meaning to it

    overall it's good

  • 17:54 - you can see that Kent - the character who died, was actually born in... 19-th century O.o The flowers just didn't cover the date enough. A funny glitch.

Overall - this picture is kinda good! Well written and acted. Too many closeups I think.

  • Very good and original plot, great acting and nice direction. I liked the handheld camera. Only thing I disliked was slightly bad sound at times.

    5/5

  • Cool! Food for thoughts. Tripod? No! Hand held works better in this case as it is a kind of semi-documentary feel to it. I foresee some more great stuff from these guys when they go pro. :D

  • Great story, solid performances. I have to disagree with everyone else about the tripod. I found the handheld camera gave it a more realistic feel. I felt like I caught a glimpse of real life; I know some of these characters! I found the ending a bit weak though, as if you were trying to hard to wrap everything up in a nice neat package. All in all a great short and I look forward to seeing more from you. I look forward to seeing a lot more from you in the future :)

  • intensely motivating and original, but it would of been much easier to watch if a tripod was used, almost all the shots were shaking. and it kinda got irritating by the time where they were standing around the grave.

flicking from the not-shaking view from the grave, to the shaking in the close-up shots was really making me feel a bit dizzy.

The acting was weak, but i can't blame you.

otherwise from that, i could really understand the characters, and the script was GOLD

i really wish to ee more!

  • agree with everything you said. Spot on

  • operator is not good

  • One word... TRIPOD.

  • liked it, few less camera shakes and i'd be great improvement

  • liekd it too hmm the close ups didnt seems to be a problem but that shaky footage is to Bad to concentrate on such a soft plot and story. Its nothing action like, its more the thing beteween this people so its realy important u can concentrate on that stuff and a shake distract the people. So try Tripod and Staddycam maybe a dolly

  • I enjoyed it

  • idd to many close-ups and to shaky footage, try more from tripod

  • ugh the video stopped working for me

  • Too many closeups, imo.

  • ...kinda dull

  • Quality. Good job.

  • gosh.

    me too.. both points.

  • I'll watch this later, so far I've only seen good things frm VFS,
