The star coins would have Been fairly easy to collet along the way..I think some people are forgetting it's in 3D, so you wouldnt get a true feel for the game until you are the person with your hands on the console.

i didnt like mario galaxy (i mean i liked them and they are good but they still arent super mario 64) the thing with the stars is that the game seems longer cause then it isnt about finishing a level and move on its about collecting all of them and serching for them can take time... super mario galaxy isnt like that... its just go forth untill you get the star... mario 64 you had a "world" (map) and it was big and you could go how ever you wanted and try different stuff

@link123253 You do know you can do just that Super Mario Galaxy? And they had Worlds too. And the original way of Super Mario was to finish the level. Now they took good elements from 3D and 2D Platforms and put them together! Super Mario 64 weren't really anything special to me though. In my opinion it was the worst of the 3D Mario Games (not counting Mario 64 DS cause it's just a remake)
